Intervención educativa en la visita prequirúrgica para el manejo de la ansiedad en mujeres que serán sometidas a una histerectomía en un hospital nacional de Lima, 2025

Abstract

Introducción: La histerectomía es uno de los tratamientos quirúrgicos que se realiza a las mujeres y es percibido como una amenaza a su integridad física y emocional la cual favorece al desarrollo de ansiedad prequirúrgica, siendo negativo y perjudicial en la recuperación de las pacientes en el posoperatorio, intensificándose en el manejo del dolor y posibles complicaciones aumentando los días hospitalarios. La intervención educativa de la enfermera es fundamental para disminuir el factor ansiedad. Objetivo: Determinar la efectividad de una intervención educativa en la visita prequirúrgica para el manejo de la ansiedad en mujeres que serán sometidas a una histerectomía en un hospital de Lima, 2025. Material y método: estudio cuantitativo de tipo descriptivo, de corte transversal de enfoque preexperimental con un solo grupo pre y postest estará conformada por 36 participantes que serán histerectomizadas; se utilizará la escala de valoración de la ansiedad de Spielberger (IDARE) que consta de 20 ítems con una escala tipo Likert de 4 puntos; tiene una fiabilidad de coeficiente alfa Cronbach de 0.86 a 0.90 y se ha calculado un coeficiente omega de McDonald de 0.89 siendo fiable para su validez. Plan de análisis: Los datos recolectados se depositará en un programa Excel versión 2024 y serán tabulados, para el análisis se utilizará el paquete estadístico Epi Info, y se utilizará la prueba estadística Chi cuadrado para la evaluación de las características de los sujetos, los resultados se analizarán a través de la prueba Mc Nemar para su análisis y discusión.

Introduction: Hysterectomy is one of the surgical treatments performed on women and is perceived as a threat to their physical and emotional integrity which favors the development of presurgical anxiety, being negative and detrimental to there covery of patients in the postoperative period, intensifying pain management and possible complications, increasing hospital days. The educational intervention of the nurse is essential to reduce the anxiety factor. Objective: To determine the effectiveness of an educational intervention in the presurgical visit for the management of anxiety in women who will undergo a hysterectomy in a hospital in Lima, 2025. Material and method: quantitative study of a descriptive type, cross-sectional with a pre-experimental approach with a single pre and post-test group will be made up of 36 participants who will be hysterectomized; the Spielberger anxiety assessment scale (IDARE) will be used, which consists of 20 items with a 4-point Likert-type scale; It has a Cronbach alpha coefficient reliability of 0.86 to0.90 and a McDonald omega coefficient of 0.89 has been calculated, being reliable for its validity. Analysis plan: The data collected will be deposited in an Excel version 2024 program and will be tabulated, for the analysis the Epi Info statistical package will be used, and the Chi square statistical test will be used to evaluate the characteristics of the subjects, the results will be analyzed through the Mc Nemartest for analysis and discussion.
