Angiotomografía pulmonar: diagnóstico en pacientes con sospecha de tromboembolia pulmonar

Abstract

En la actualidad la angiotomografía pulmonar es una de las técnicas de diagnóstico más rápida y no invasiva que permite confirmar o descartar la presencia de tromboembolia pulmonar (TEP). Objetivo: Identificar la importancia del diagnóstico de pacientes con sospecha de tromboembolismo pulmonar por Angiotomografía Pulmonar según la revisión científica. Tipo de estudio: Monografía. Metodología: Revisión y análisis bibliográfico actualizado (2015- 2022), obtenido de las bases de datos de Repositorios de tesis, Scielo, Pubmed, Revista médica herediana, Google académico y paginas importantes de investigación. Resultados: De los 20 trabajos de investigación analizados (100%), El 30% fueron publicadas en el 2021, 15% en el 2020, 15% en el 2018, 15% en el 2016, 10% en el 2019, 10% en el 2015 y 5% en el 2017. Por otro lado, del 100% de las Angiotomografías Pulmonares realizadas, un 74.29% dio positivo a TEP y un 25.71% dio negativo. Conclusiones: Los trabajos de investigación analizados evidenciaron la gran utilidad que tiene la angiotomografía pulmonar como técnica radiológica óptima para el diagnóstico de tromboembolismo pulmonar, ya que en la mayoría de pacientes con sospecha clínica se pudo confirmar o identificar esta patología.

Pulmonary CT angiography is currently one of the fastest and non-invasive diagnostic techniques that allows confirming or ruling out the presence of pulmonary thromboembolism (PTE). Objective: To identify the importance of the diagnosis of patients with suspected pulmonary thromboembolism by Pulmonary Tomography Angiography according to the scientific review. Type of study: Monograph. Methodology: Review and updated bibliographic analysis (2015-2022), obtained from the databases of thesis repositories, Scielo, Pubmed, Heredian Medical Journal, Google Scholar and important research pages. Results: Of the 20 research papers analyzed (100%), 30% were published in 2021, 15% in 2020, 15% in 2018, 15% in 2016, 10% in 2019, 10% in in 2015 and 5% in 2017. On the other hand, of 100% of the Pulmonary Angiotomographies performed, 74.29% were positive for PET and 25.71% were negative. Conclusions: The research papers analyzed showed the great utility of pulmonary CT angiography as the optimal radiological technique for the diagnosis of pulmonary thromboembolism, since in the majority of patients with clinical suspicion this pathology could be confirmed or identified.
