Influencia del método madre canguro en la ganancia de peso ponderal del recién nacido prematuro

Abstract

INTRODUCCION: El recién nacido prematuro es aquel que no ha completado su desarrollo y se encuentran inmaduros sus sistemas orgánicos por tanto no funcionan de forma óptima, incluyendo los reflejos de succión y deglución esto hace que requiera de cuidados especiales para recuperar su peso y talla según su edad gestacional. El método Madre Canguro es una alternativa segura y asequible si se contrasta con el estilo convencional del cuidado al neonato prematuro y de bajo peso donde permite al recién nacido obtener beneficios como la ganancia de peso. OBJETIVO: Describir la influencia del método madre canguro en la ganancia de peso ponderal del recién nacido prematuro a partir de una revisión bibliográfica del periodo 2016-2021 METODOLOGÍA: Esta monografía posee un estudio de tipo descriptivo, narrativo de revisión bibliográfica de tipo retrospectivo, dentro de la unidad desde el año 2016 al 2021, las fuentes bibliográficas consideradas son investigaciones internacionales puesto que no se encontraron investigaciones nacionales es así que la búsqueda se dio de manera exhaustiva revisando la diversas fuentes bibliográficas como PUBMED (32%), ELSEVIER (12%), GOOGLE ACADEMICO (4%), BVS (24%), SCIENCE DIRECT (12%), SCIELO (8%), REPOSITORIOS (4%), COCHRANE (4%), se utilizaron estas bases de datos por contener diferentes artículos científicos. CONCLUSIONES: El Método Madre Canguro es una opción eficiente pues influye en la ganancia de peso ponderal pues se logra el aumento de peso, talla y perímetro cefálico siendo mayor en los niños de MMC a comparación de los neonatos de cuidado convencional mediante los cuidados de la enfermera especialista.

The Mother Kangaroo method is a safe and affordable alternative if contrasted with the conventional style of care for preterm and low birth weight neonates where it allows the newborn to obtain benefits such as weight gain. OBJECTIVE: To describe the influence of the kangaroo mother method on the weight gain of the preterm newborn from a literature review of the period 2016-2021 METHODOLOGY: This monograph has a descriptive, narrative type study of retrospective type bibliographic review, within the unit from 2016 to 2021, the bibliographic sources considered are international research since n national research was found is so the search was given exhaustively reviewing the various bibliographic sources such as PUBMED (32%), ELSEVIER (12%), GOOGLE ACADEMICO (4%), BVS (24%), SCIENCE DIRECT (12%), SCIELO (8%), REPOSITORIOS (4%), COCHRANE (4%), these databases were used because they contain different scientific articles. CONCLUSIONS: The Mother Kangaroo Method is an efficient option as it influences weight gain as weight, height and head circumference increase is achieved being greater in CMM infants compared to conventional care neonates through the care of the specialist nurse.
