Cuidados de enfermería en el neurodesarrollo del recién nacido pretérmino en la unidad de cuidados intensivos

Abstract

Objetivo: Identificar y analizar los cuidados de enfermería para la protección del neurodesarrollo del prematuro en la unidad de cuidados intensivos. Método: Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica, según las bases de datos, Pubmed/Medline, Google Académico, Scielo, Elservier, se determinaron limites en cuanto al idioma (inglés y español) y la fecha de publicación desde el año 2017 al 2022. Resultados: de 50 artículos identificados se seleccionaron 26 para el análisis que cumplían con los criterios de inclusión, los resultados que se analizaron se agruparon en dos temas: cuidados de enfermería en el neurodesarrollo (control de luz, control de ruido, posicionamiento, manejo del dolor y madre canguro). Conclusión: El cuidado de enfermería para el neurodesarrollo abarca el concepto de interacciones dinámicas entre el recién nacido, la familia y el entorno cubriendo el período neonatal. Siendo el objetivo mejorar el entorno de luz, ruido y el microentorno (posición y dolor) en el que se desarrollan los niños. También se crea interacción con el padre y la madre esto ayudando a que aumente la efectividad del cuidado.

Objective: To identify and analyze nursing care for the protection of premature neurodevelopment in the intensive care unit. Method: A bibliographic review was carried out, according to the databases, Pubmed/Medline, Google Scholar, Scielo, Elservier, limits were determined in terms of language (English and Spanish) and the date of publication from 2017 to 2022. Results : Of 50 identified articles, 26 were selected for the analysis that met the inclusion criteria, the results that were analyzed were grouped into two themes: nursing care in neurodevelopment (light control, noise control, positioning, pain management and mother kangaroo). Conclusion: Nursing care for neurodevelopment encompasses the concept of dynamic interactions between the newborn, the family, and the environment, covering the neonatal period. The objective being to improve the environment of light, noise and the microenvironment (position and pain) in which children develop. Interaction with the father and mother is also created, helping to increase the effectiveness of care.
