Revisión sistemática sobre la problemática de la producción científica en el Perú; un análisis crítico, 2013 - 2023

Abstract

La preocupante realidad de la baja producción científica en el Perú y la deficiente calidad de los estudios publicados en el ámbito académico, posiblemente, causado por la falta de capacitación en metodología de la investigación, además, de la ausencia de un campo unificado en textos de referencia utilizados en cursos de tesis en pre y posgrado, agravando dicha situación. El objetivo principal fue describir y analizar los principales factores identificados en la baja producción científica en el Perú. Estudio justificado por la necesidad de comprender en profundidad las causas subyacentes de este fenómeno, generando conocimiento teórico que incentivaría intervenciones prácticas, promoviendo una cultura científica más sólida y participativa. Objetivo llevado a cabo mediante una revisión sistemática bajo el modelo PRISMA, utilizando criterios de elegibilidad para recopilar investigaciones realizadas en el Perú en los últimos 10 años, analizando de diversas fuentes de información alineadas con el objetivo de investigación como Latindex, Redalyc, Scielo, Dialnet, ProQuest, Scopus y Web of Science. Los resultados proporcionaron una comprensión más completa de los desafíos y obstáculos que enfrenta el sistema científico peruano, información valiosa para el diseño de políticas y programas que promuevan la investigación y la producción científica de calidad en el país. contribuyendo al avance del conocimiento científico y la mejora de las prácticas de investigación, impulsando el desarrollo académico y científico del país.

The concerning reality of low scientific production in Peru and the deficient quality of published studies within the academic field are potentially caused by the lack of training in research methodology. In addition, this situation is aggravated by the absence of a unified field in reference texts utilized in undergraduate and postgraduate thesis courses. The primary objective was to describe and analyze the main factors identified in low scientific production in Peru. This study is justified by the need to comprehensively understand the underlying causes of this phenomenon, thereby generating theoretical knowledge that would incentivize practical interventions and promote a more solid and participatory scientific culture. This objective was carried out through a systematic review under the PRISMA model, utilizing eligibility criteria to gather research conducted in Peru within the last 10 years, analyzing various information sources aligned with the research objective, such as Latindex, Redalyc, SciELO, Dialnet, ProQuest, Scopus, and Web of Science. The results provided a more complete understanding of the challenges and obstacles faced by the Peruvian scientific system, offering valuable information for the design of policies and programs that promote quality research and scientific production in the country. Consequently, this contributes to the advancement of scientific knowledge and the improvement of research practices, driving the academic and scientific development of the nation.
