Intervenciones de enfermería de centro quirúrgico en el manejo de la ansiedad del paciente adulto en el periodo preoperatorio

Abstract

El proceso quirúrgico constituye un suceso estresante para el paciente quien experimenta una serie de reacciones como la ansiedad, éste viene acompañado de sentimientos de miedo, temor, tensión, llegando a influir en el proceso de recuperación. Aquí la educación preoperatoria juega un papel fundamental donde el profesional de enfermería va implementar la estrategia educativa que permita minimizar los estados emocionales que se manifiestan, informar, ampliar los conocimientos frente a este hecho, logrando así que el paciente ingrese al quirófano tranquilo, cooperativo e informado, encaminando de esta manera al éxito del proceso operatorio. Objetivos: describir las intervenciones de enfermería de centro quirúrgico en el manejo de la ansiedad del paciente adulto en el periodo preoperatorio. Metodología: estudio descriptivo, retrospectivo, mediante revisión bibliográfica de literatura científica. Resultados: en la búsqueda bibliográfica se halló un total de 60 artículos, tras la revisión se seleccionaron un total de 30 artículos de revistas científicas del año 2018 al 2022, de la base de datos: Pubmed, Google scholar, Dialnet, Scielo y Enfermería 21. Conclusión: las intervenciones que realizan las enfermeras de centro quirúrgico en la ansiedad de los pacientes en el periodo preoperatorio mediante un manejo estructurado y organizado tienen un efecto positivo no solo en el estado emocional sino también a nivel fisiológico, disminuyendo el riesgo y complicaciones que pueden suscitarse durante los periodos intra y post operatorio, teniendo resultados satisfactorios en el proceso de recuperación.

The surgical process constitutes a stressful event for the patient who experiences a series of reactions such as anxiety, this is accompanied by feelings of fear, fear, tension, even influencing the recovery process. Here, preoperative education plays a fundamental role where the nursing professional will implement the educational strategy that allows minimizing the emotional states that are manifested, informing, expanding knowledge of this fact, thus ensuring that the patient enters the operating room calm, cooperative, and informed, thus leading to the success of the surgical process. Objectives: to describe nursing interventions in the surgical center in the management of anxiety in adult patients in the preoperative period. Methodology: descriptive, retrospective study, through bibliographic review of scientific literature. Results: in the bibliographic search, a total of 60 articles were found, after the review, a total of 30 articles from scientific journals from 2018 to 2022 were selected from the database: Pubmed, Google scholar, Dialnet, Scielo and Nursing 21. Conclusion: the interventions carried out by nurses in the surgical center on the anxiety of patients in the preoperative period through structured and organized management have a positive effect not only on the emotional state but also on a physiological level, reducing the risk and complications that They can arise during the intra and post-operative periods, having satisfactory results in the recovery process.
