El fenómeno del mobbing en el ámbito laboral Latinoamericano: revisión y análisis de sus implicaciones en la salud mental de los colaboradores

Abstract

La presente investigación nace debido a que en los últimos tiempos ha tomado más importancia el tema del acoso en las organizaciones y se evidencia los nefastos efectos que podría ocasionar en la salud mental de la víctima, aún más si este fenómeno es subestimado. Además, Latinoamérica, siendo la región de mayor fuerza laboral y de gran crecimiento en el mundo, es importante conocer y consolidar la información sobre este y sus implicancias. Por este motivo, el objetivo principal de este estudio es analizar el fenómeno del mobbing en el ámbito laboral latinoamericano y sus repercusiones en la salud mental de los colaboradores, a través de la revisión de literatura científica en los últimos 10 años. Se realizó un análisis cualitativo interpretativo, de tipo documental, utilizando investigaciones sobre el mobbing y las consecuencias en la salud mental publicadas en Latinoamérica durante los años 2013 al 2023. Así mismo, se abordaron cuatro puntos fundamentales para el análisis, la presentación y justificación del tema, conceptualización de la variable, factores que influyen en la variable, impacto de la variable, intervención correctiva y preventiva relacionada con la variable, evaluación psicológica relacionada con la variable y aplicabilidad a la realidad peruana de los hallazgos obtenidos. Las principales conclusiones son que existen vacíos significativos en la investigación y legislación en Latinoamérica, así como el impacto del mobbing en la víctima es integral y la intensidad de las consecuencias en la salud mental está relacionada con la frecuencia y duración.

The present research is born because in recent years the issue of harassment in organizations has taken on more force and the harmful effects it could cause on the mental health of the victim is evidenced, even more if this phenomenon is underestimated. In addition, Latin America, being the largest and fastest growing workforce in the world, is important to know and consolidate information about this and its implications. For this reason, the main objective of this study is to analyze the phenomenon of mobbing in the Latin American workplace and its repercussions on the mental health of collaborators, through the review of scientific literature in the last 10 years. An interpretative qualitative analysis was made, of documentary type, using research on mobbing and the consequences on mental health published in Latin America during the years 2013 to 2023. Likewise, four fundamental points were addressed for the analysis, presentation and justification of the topic, conceptualization of the variable, factors that influence the variable, impact of the variable, corrective and preventive intervention related to the variable, psychological evaluation related to the variable and applicability to the Peruvian reality of the findings obtained. The main conclusions are that there are significant gaps in research and legislation in Latin America, as well as that the impact of mobbing on the victim is comprehensive and the intensity of the mental health consequences is related to the frequency and duration of the mobbing.
