Evaluación del tracto gubernacular asociado a quistes y tumores odontogénicos mediante tomografía computarizada de haz cónico de pacientes que acudieron al Centro Dental Docente de la Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, 2014-2023

Abstract

Introducción: El tracto gubernacular es una estructura anatómica recientemente reincorporada y su relevancia permite postular a sugerir el origen de lesiones de naturaleza odontogénico, además de establecer un signo tomográfico que permitirá establecer el diagnóstico diferencial entre otras lesiones que afecte a los maxilares, el presente portafolio reúne los conceptos, el análisis estructurado de un estudio base y el planteamiento de un proyecto de investigación que aporte a esta hipótesis Desarrollo temático: se han elaborado tres trabajos, el primero es un silabo, el segundo es un análisis crítico de la literatura estomatológica y por último es un proyecto de investigación. Conclusiones: La elaboración del silabo permite abordar el tema de investigación de forma estructurada y metodológica, con la finalidad de enseñar y comunicar, orientado para el entendimiento de los estudiantes. El realizar el análisis crítico de literatura mediante las guías estructuradas, permitió valorar la información, discernir la calidad del artículo e integrar una práctica de lectura adecuada. El desarrollo del proyecto de investigación está orientado a evaluar la presencia del tracto gubernacular asociado a quistes y tumores odontogénicos mediante tomografía computarizada de haz cónico basado en los archivos de los servicios de radiología y patología del Centro Dental Docente de la Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia.

Introduction: The gubernacular tract is a recently reincorporated anatomical structure and its relevance allows us to postulate the origin of odontogenic lesions in addition to allowing a tomographic sign that will allow the differential diagnosis to be established between other lesions that affect the jaws, this portfolio brings together the concepts, the structured analysis of a base study and the approach of a research project that contributes to this hypothesis Thematic development: three works have been prepared, the first is a syllable, the second is a critical analysis of the stomatological literature and finally it is a research project. Conclusions: The elaboration of the syllabus allows to approach the research topic in a structured and methodological way, with the purpose of teaching and communicating, oriented for the understanding of the students. Carrying out the critical analysis of literature through the structured guides, allowed to assess the information, discern the quality of the article and integrate an adequate reading practice. The development of the research project is aimed at evaluating the presence of the gubernacular tract associated with odontogenic cysts and tumors by means of cone beam computed tomography based on the files of the radiology and pathology services of the Teaching Dental Center of the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia.
