Influencia del método mamá canguro en los parámetros fisiológicos de los recién nacidos prematuros

Abstract

Objetivo: Identificar la influencia del método mamá canguro en el comportamiento de los parámetros fisiológicos del recién nacido prematuro. Material y método: El diseño de estudio corresponde a una revisión documental de tipo descriptiva, narrativa, en la cual se incluyeron estudios cuantitativos y cualitativos, los cuales tuvieron como tema central la influencia del método mamá canguro en el comportamiento de los parámetros fisiológicos del recién nacido prematuro. Se seleccionaron 25 artículos de investigación; los cuales cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión, la búsqueda sistemática de los artículos se realizó en las bases de datos electrónicas: PubMed (48%), ScienceDirect (44%), La Referencia (4%), Lilacs (4%); considerando artículos con una antigüedad no mayor a cinco años. Conclusiones: El método mamá canguro es una alternativa de cuidado eficaz y eficiente que asegura el contacto piel a piel entre la madre y el recién nacido prematuro, favoreciendo la estabilidad de sus parámetros fisiológicos y puede ser aplicado en cortos periodos de duración.

Material and method: The study design corresponds to a bibliographic review, in which quantitative and qualitative studies were included, which had as a central theme the influence of the kangaroo mother method on the behavior of the physiological parameters of the premature newborn. 25 research articles were selected; which met the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the systematic search of the articles was carried out in the electronic databases: PubMed (48%), ScienceDirect (44%), La Referencia (4%), Lilacs (4%); considering items no older than five years. Conclusions: The kangaroo mother method is an effective and efficient care alternative that ensures skin-to-skin contact between the mother and the premature newborn, favoring the stability of their physiological parameters and can be applied in short periods of time.
