dc.description.abstractThe political crisis and war conflicts in Syria, characterised by the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) as “the great tragedy of the century”, have entered their fifth year with no sign of resolution. One action, from a medical and psychiatric perspective, to alleviate (at least partly) the tragic consequences of the conflict would be to develop a series of telepsychiatric interventions for the provision of mental health-care services—especially for the neglected yet highly prevalent post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)...en_US
