"Capacidad de respuesta del personal, pacientes y familiares ante un simulacro en caso de sismo del servicio de emergencia de un hospital nacional"

Abstract

El Hospital Cayetano Heredia presenta un alta vulnerabilidad debido a su alta densidad poblacional y a su antigüedad mayor de 40 años, determinada por el ISH (Índice de Seguridad Hospitalaria) de 0.49 categoría B, siendo justificado efectuar el simulacro que permitirá fortalecer la capacidad de respuesta organizada del personal, pacientes y familiares para hacer frente a desastres (sismo) en función a un plan establecido por dicha institución. El objetivo general, es identificar la capacidad de respuesta del personal de salud, familiares y pacientes frente a un simulacro de sismo del servicio de emergencia del Hospital Nacional Cayetano Heredia programado para julio del 2017. El método de estudio es observacional, descriptivo de corte transversal y prospectivo. Se utilizará como instrumento una hoja de supervisión elaborado por INDECI en el 2015 y modificado por los investigadores de acuerdo al objetivo de estudio; el cual será validado por juicio de expertos, que constaran de profesionales de enfermería especialistas en emergencias y desastres donde se evaluará las dos etapas del simulacro: planeamiento y ejecución. Participará la totalidad de personal de salud, pacientes y familiares que se encuentren durante el simulacro en el servicio de emergencia. El estudio cumple con las Consideraciones éticas establecidas; no maleficencia, beneficencia, justicia y autonomía.

The research is of observation, description and cross section. The framework developed by the NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF CIVIL DEFENSE 2015 and reviewed by the researchers based on the objectives of the study will serve as a tool; It will be validated by expert evaluation, including specialist nurses in emergency and disaster situations, in which two phases of the exercise will be evaluated: planning and execution. During the exercise all the paramedics, patients and relatives of the emergency service will participate. Research consistent with wellfounded ethical considerations; respect towards people, confidentiality, truthfulness and fidelity to provide care.
