Cuidados de enfermería centrados en el neurodesarrollo del recién nacido prematuro en la unidad de cuidado intensivo neonatal

Abstract

Objetivo: Identificar los cuidados de enfermería centrados en el neurodesarrollo del prematuro hospitalizado en la UCIN de artículos a nivel mundial comprendidos entre 2018 – 2023. Método: Esta investigación monográfica de evidencia científica corresponde a un diseño retrospectivo de revisión bibliográfica narrativa, donde el objetivo general, es reunir información de artículos internacionales y nacionales sobre el tema de cuidados de enfermería en el neurodesarrollo del recién nacido prematuro en la UCIN. La búsqueda para la selección de investigaciones fue de la base de datos de Pubmed/Medline, Google Académico, Scielo. De los cuales fueron seleccionados 20 artículos que cumplían con los criterios de selección. Conclusión: según las investigaciones seleccionadas el entorno influye directamente en el nivel de estrés al que sometemos al recién nacido prematuro, lo que altera su organización y adaptación, consecuentemente su neurodesarrollo. Lo que se busca es controlar estos factores estresantes como la luz, el ruido, la posición y el contacto con la aplicación de los cuidados de enfermería favoreciendo así que los neuro sensores del recién nacido prematuro puedan desarrollarse correctamente; disminuyendo así el estrés, creando un ambiente armonioso y mejorando la calidad de vida del prematuro.

Objective: To identify nursing care focused on the neurodevelopment of premature babies hospitalized in the NICU from articles worldwide between 2018 - 2023. Method: This monographic investigation of scientific evidence corresponds to a retrospective design of a narrative bibliographic review, where The general objective is to gather information from international and national articles on the topic of nursing care in the neurodevelopment of premature newborns in the NICU. The search for research selection was from the Pubmed/Medline database, Google Scholar, Scielo. Of which 20 articles that met the selection criteria were selected. Conclusion: according to the selected research, the environment directly influences the level of stress to which we subject the premature newborn, which alters its organization and adaptation, consequently its neurodevelopment. What is sought is to control these stressors such as light, noise, position and contact with the application of nursing care, thus favoring the premature newborn's neuro sensors to develop correctly; In the same way, the kangaroo breast method, if performed optimally, provides benefits in managing the pain of the newborn, thus reducing stress, creating a harmonious environment and improving the quality of life of the premature baby.
