Cuidados de enfermería en pacientes con insuficiencia respiratoria aguda por COVID 19, en el servicio de emergencia

Abstract

Desde que la organización mundial de la salud anunció a nivel mundial el inicio de la pandemia por COVID 19, en el 11 de marzo del 2020 , el personal de enfermería viene trabajando en pie de lucha en la primera línea de defensa , brindado un cuidado especializado de calidad, que responde a las necesidades biológicas, emocionales y espirituales del paciente. Objetivo. Analizar la evidencia científica sobre los cuidados de enfermería en pacientes con insuficiencia respiratoria aguda por COVID 19, en el servicio de Emergencia. Metodología. Se realizo un trabajo académico de tipo monográfico, revisión bibliográfica, en base a un diseño documental, retrospectivo. la búsqueda bibliográfica en revistas indexadas en el área de las ciencia de la salud (Scielo, Pubmed, Medline, Scopus, Elsevier, Sciencedirect, PMC, Nih), utilizando los términos de búsqueda en español: enfermería, cuidados, insuficiencia respiratoria; en inglés : nurse, nursing care, covid 19, patients with respiratory insufficiency, y los términos boléanos “or” y “and”. Para la selección artículos se empleó el diagrama de prisma modificado. El estudio conto con 30 artículos científicos. Conclusiones: Las etiquetas diagnosticas NANDA más utilizados a la hora de brindar cuidados de enfermería a pacientes con insuficiencia respiratoria por COVID19, son los siguientes: “Deterioro del intercambio Gaseoso”, “Patrón respiratorio Ineficaz” y “Limpieza ineficaz de vías aéreas seguidas de riesgo de shock”, “riesgo de lesiones por presión en el adulto” y “riesgo de infecciones , ansiedad ante la muerte”, y de estas etiquetas diagnostica se describen las intervenciones enfermería.

Since the world health organization announced the start of the COVID 19 pandemic worldwide, on March 11, 2020, the nursing staff has been working hard on the first line of defense, providing a specialized quality care, which responds to the biological, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient. Objective: To analyze the scientific evidence on nursing care in patients with acute respiratory failure due to COVID 19, in the Emergency service. Methodology: A monographic academic work was carried out, it is a bibliographic review, based on a documentary, retrospective design. the bibliographic search in journals indexed in the area of health sciences (Scielo, Pubmed, Medline, Scopus, Elsevier, Sciencedirect, PMC, Nih), using the search terms in Spanish: nursing, care, respiratory failure; in English: nurse, nursing care, covid 19, patients with respiratory insufficiency, and the Boolean terms “or” and “and”. For the selection of articles, the modified prism diagram was used. The study included 30 scientific articles. Conclusions: The most used NANDA diagnostic labels when providing nursing care to patients with respiratory failure due to COVID19 are the following: "Impaired gas exchange", "Ineffective respiratory pattern" and "Ineffective airway clearance followed by risk of shock ”, “risk of pressure injuries in adults” and “risk of infections, death anxiety”, and nursing interventions are described from these diagnostic labels.
