Cuidados de enfermería al paciente quirúrgico con hipotermia perioperatoria

Abstract

Objetivo: Describir los cuidados de enfermería al paciente quirúrgico con hipotermia perioperatoria a partir de la revisión de la literatura científica 2018-2022. Método: La presente monografía es una revisión bibliográfica diseño descriptivo de tipo retrospectivo. Resultados: Del total de los artículos revisados 13 de ellos se enfocan en factores de riesgo para hipotermia que representan el 35%, 3 sobre las complicaciones de hipotermia con un 8%, 10 sobre métodos para disminuir la hipotermia con un 27%, y 11 sobre las intervenciones en enfermería que representan un 30%. Conclusiones: Los principales cuidados de enfermería para reducir la hipotermia en el perioperatorio, está basado en identificar a tiempo los factores de riesgo y las posibles complicaciones para poder adoptar una serie de medidas y métodos para aumentar la temperatura corporal además de estar en constante capacitación e implementación de protocolos a cargo del personal de enfermería.

Objective: To describe the nursing care for the surgical patient with perioperative hypothermia from the review of the scientific literature 2018-2022. Method: This monograph is a retrospective descriptive bibliographic review. Results: Of the total number of articles reviewed, 13 of them focus on risk factors for hypothermia that represent 35%, 3 on hypothermia complications with 8%, 10 on methods to reduce hypothermia with 27%, and 11 on on nursing interventions that represent 30%. Conclusions: The main nursing care to reduce hypothermia in the perioperative period is based on early identification of risk factors and possible complications in order to adopt a series of measures and methods to increase body temperature, in addition to being in constant training and implementation of protocols by nursing staff.
