Relación entre la percepción de actitudes de crianza parentales y estilos de afronte con la ansiedad en adolescentes con déficit de atención con hiperactividad de un colegio privado de Lima Metropolitana

Abstract

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo principal establecer la relación que existe entre la percepción de actitudes parentales de crianza, los estilos de afrontamiento y la ansiedad en adolescentes con trastorno de déficit de atención con hiperactividad (TDAH) provenientes de un colegio privado de Lima metropolitana. El nivel de investigación es básico. El diseño fue descriptivo correlacional. Los participantes del estudio fueron todos los alumnos que presenten un diagnóstico de TDAH y sus variantes, pertenecientes al nivel secundario de un colegio Privado de Lima Metropolitana. El estudio fue de tipo censal, ya que se realizó la selección total de los sujetos (100%) al ser este un número manejable. El total de participantes fue de 89. Los instrumentos aplicados en el estudio fueron los siguientes: ficha sociodemográfica, escala de Estilos de Crianza de Steinberg (Merino y Arnt, 2004), el Inventario de ansiedad Estado -Rasgo en sus dos versiones: para niños y adolescentes de Spielberger et. al, (Seisdedos,1990) inventario de 12 a 15 años de edad- e Inventario de ansiedad estado-rasgo para adultos (Spielberger , Diaz y Guerrero, 1975) versión de la prueba para ser aplicada a participantes de 16 años a más), y Escala de afrontamiento para adolescentes (ACS) de Frydenberg y Lewis. (Canessa, 2002) Además, se realizó la validez por criterio de jueces de los instrumentos mediante el criterio de expertos, arrojando valores V de Aiken entre 1 y 0.88 considerados aceptables. Del mismo modo, se realizó la confiabilidad de los instrumentos empleados, hallándose una buena consistencia interna de los ítems (valores α entre 0.75 y 0.89). Se presentan como variables control la edad de los participantes, el sexo y el tipo de estructura familiar. Los hallazgos refieren que existe una relación moderada y estadísticamente significativa (r=0.55, p=0.00) entre los estilos de afrontamiento, y la percepción de las actitudes parentales de crianza con la ansiedad-rasgo, siendo variables moderadoras el tipo de estructura familiar, edad y sexo de los participantes.

The main objective of this study was to establish the relationship that exists between the perception of parental parenting attitudes, coping styles and anxiety in adolescents with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) from a private school in metropolitan Lima. The research level is basic. The design was descriptive correlational. The study participants were all students with a diagnosis of ADHD and its variants, belonging to the secondary level of a Private school in Metropolitan Lima. The study was census type, since the total selection of the subjects (100%) was carried out as this was a manageable number. The total number of participants was 89. The instruments applied in the study were the following: sociodemographic sheet, Steinberg Parenting Styles scale (Merino and Arnt, 2004), the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory in its two versions: for children and adolescents by Spielberger et. Al (Seisdedos, 1990), inventory for 12 to 15 years of age - and State-Trait Anxiety Inventory for adults (Spielberger, Diaz and Guerrero), version of the test to be applied to participants 16 years of age and older), and Frydenberg and Lewis Adolescent Coping Scale (ACS). (Canessa, 2002) In addition, the instruments were validated by judge criteria using expert criteria, yielding Aiken V values between 1 and 0.88, considered acceptable. Similarly, the reliability of the instruments used was carried out, finding good internal consistency of the items (α values between 0.75 and 0.89). Likewise, the age of the participants, sex and type of family structure are presented as control variables. The findings indicate that there is a moderate and statistically significant relationship (r=0.55, p=0.00) between coping styles and the perception of parental parenting attitudes with trait anxiety, with moderating variables being the type of family structure, age and sex of the participants.
