Selección de plan de tratamiento según tipo de especialidad en piezas dentarias con factores que afectan su integridad

Abstract

Introducción: La selección del plan de tratamiento puede ser una decisión difícil mas aun si son casos clínicos que se encuentran al limite por presentar factores que afectan la integridad de la estructura dentaria. El ejercicio de la especialidad puede ser un factor que influya dramáticamente en la selección del plan de tratamiento, si preservar la pieza dentaria restaurando su estructura dañada o realizando la exodoncia y la colocación de un implante. Desarrollo temático: El presente trabajo de investigación consta de 3 proyectos: un silabo para un curso de educación continua, un análisis crítico para ver la calidad y el aporte científico del articulo matriz y un proyecto de investigación. Conclusiones: Elaborar de manera correcta un sílabo es de muchísima importancia para poder proyectar el buen desarrollo de un curso, orienta tanto al docente como al estudiante el proceso de enseñanzaaprendizaje. El análisis crítico de literatura es de suma importancia porque nos permite verificar el nivel del aporte científico del articulo matriz. La valoración del artículo de Su H, Liao H, Fiorellini J, Kim S, Korostoff J. del 2014 mediante las listas Strobe y Axis para estudios transversales demostró que cumplió con la gran mayoría de ítems evaluados determinando su validez. El proyecto de investigación tiene como objetivo evaluar si el ejercicio de la especialidad tiene algún tipo de influencia en la decisión del plan de tratamiento en piezas dentarias que tienen afectadas su integridad estructural. El presente estudio se justifica ya que es importante entender que las diferentes especialidades y quienes la ejercen deben siempre tratar de mantener una comunicación fluida para consensuar en casos clínicos limite y ver si la mejor decisión es preservar o extraer la pieza dentaria comprometida.

Introduction: The plan treatment selection can be a difficult decision in certain clinical cases more else if these cases come with factors that affect the integrity of dental structure. In these cases, the specialty exercise may have a dramatic influence in the selection of plan treatment making it difficult to decide if preserving the tooth or do the extraction with a later placement of an implant. Thematic development: This research consists of 3 projects: a syllabus for a continuing educational course, a critical analysis of a written report and finally a research project. Conclusions: the correct elaboration of a syllabus is of vital importance for the good development of the course, it helps guide student and professors during the teaching and learning process. The critical analysis of the literature is very important to see the real scientific input of the matrix article. The validation of the article written by Su H, Liao H, Fiorellini J, Kim S, Korostoff J. in 2014 through Strobe an Axis lists for cross studies fulfilled the great majority of items confirming its high value. The aim of the research project is to assess if the specialty exercise may influence in the decision of the plan treatment in tooth that have factors that affect their integrity structure. The present study is justified because it is important for the dental profession and the different specialties to make a concern in agreements in those limiting cases where there is a difficult decision making in preserving or extracting the tooth.
