Intervenciones para reducir el estrés del recién nacido prematuro en la unidad de cuidados intensivos neonatales

Abstract

El recién nacido prematuro se expone luego del nacimiento a estímulos externos a los que no se encuentra familiarizado, ocasionando signos de estrés al no poder adaptarse a su nuevo medio , por ello la importancia y abordaje de la enfermera para poder identificar aquellos signos y poder emplear estrategias que puedan eliminarlas o disminuirlas. Objetivo: analizar las intervenciones de enfermería en la disminución de estrés del recién nacido prematuro en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales. Metodología: En la presente monografía se realizó una revisión sistemática y descriptiva de artículos de revistas y publicaciones de enfermería con diseños cualitativos y cuantitativos. Resultados: se recopilo un total de 30 artículos científicos e investigaciones cuantitativas con un rango de 5 años de antigüedad. Conclusiones: el estudio se determina que las principales estrategias que se emplean para disminuir el estrés con el control de la luz, el sonido, el uso de posturas y contención, la manipulación mínima, el control de dolor y la intervención de la familia.

The premature newborn is exposed after birth to external stimuli to which he is not familiar, causing signs of stress by not being able to adapt to his new environment, due to the importance and approach of the nurse to be able to identify those signs and be able to use strategies that can eliminate or reduce them. Objective: to analyze nursing interventions to reduce stress in premature newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Methodology: In this monograph, a systematic and descriptive review of articles from nursing journals and publications with qualitative and quantitative designs was carried out. Results: a total of 30 scientific articles and quantitative research with a range of 5 years old were collected. Conclusions: the study determines that the main strategies used to reduce stress are the control of light, sound, the use of postures and containment, minimal manipulation, pain control and family intervention.
