Calidad del cuidado de enfermería y la estancia hospitalaria del neonato prematuro en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales de un Hospital Público de Nivel III, Lima, 2025

Abstract

La calidad del cuidado de enfermería y la estancia hospitalaria son clave en la recuperación de los neonatos prematuros en UCIN. La duración de su hospitalización depende de su condición y del cuidado recibido, lo que influye en su pronóstico a largo plazo. Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre la calidad del cuidado de enfermería y la estancia hospitalaria del neonato prematuro en la UCIN de un hospital público nivel III, Lima, 2025. Material y Métodos: Se efectuó una investigación cuantitativa y utiliza un método descriptivo, diseño observacional y de corte transversal con un alcance correlacional. La muestra estará constituida por 35 enfermeras de UCIN, con un muestreo no probabilístico censal, las cuales reunirán las condiciones establecidas en los parámetros de selección. Se aplicarán dos herramientas para el acopio de información, para el primer fenómeno una ficha de cotejo que abarca 4 dimensiones, validado por 6 expertos con una validez del 98.2% con una confiabilidad de Kuder Richardson de 0.983, para el segundo instrumento se empleará una ficha de recopilación de información de 16 ítems que se validará mediante el juicio de especialistas, para la confiabilidad del segundo instrumento se utilizará alfa de Cronbach, donde un valor mayor o igual a 0,8. Plan de análisis: Los registros se llevarán a cabo mediante el Excel 2016 y SPSS 25.0.

The quality of nursing care and hospital stay are key to the recovery of premature neonates in the NICU. The length of their hospital stay depends on their condition and the care received, which influences their long-term prognosis. Materials and Methods: A quantitative research was carried out using a descriptive method, observational and cross-sectional design with a correlational scope. The sample will consist of 35 NICU nurses, with a non-probability census sampling, which will meet the conditions established in the selection parameters. Two tools will be applied for information gathering, for the first phenomenon a checklist covering 4 dimensions, validated by 6 experts with a validity of 98.2% with a Kuder Richardson reliability of 0.983, for the second instrument a 16-item information collection sheet will be used that will be validated by the judgment of specialists, for the reliability of the second instrument Cronbach's alpha will be used, where a value greater than or equal to 0.8. Analysis Plan: Records will be kept using Excel 2016 and SPSS 25.0.
