dc.description.abstractThe invention is referring to an essential oil from lemon peel useful as growth promoter in poultry, such composition comprises at least 16.84 to 46.12 % of D-Limonene; 5.67 to 19.86 % of y-Terpinene; 4.27 to 12.13 % of Terpinolene; 4.60 to 14.75 % of p-Ment-1-en-8-ol; among other components. The invention also refers to a poultry food supplement, which comprises 1 kg per metric ton of food from such composition of essential oil.
