Participación del enfermero durante el triage en el servicio de emergencia

Abstract

Introducción: El triaje es la primera actividad que efectiviza la enfermera al ingreso del paciente en el servicio de emergencia de un determinado hospital, realizando la valoración y su respectiva categorización según la norma técnica, para poder clasificar de acuerdo a la prioridad que demande, y el paciente sea el favorecido de forma temprana y oportuna obteniendo resultados favorables para los pacientes. Objetivo: Describir la participación del enfermero (a) durante el triaje del paciente en Emergencia. Metodología: Estudio monográfico, de revisión bibliográfica, retrospectivo a través de la revisión bibliográfica de literatura científica. Resultados: Después de buscar en la literatura fuente, se encontraron un total de 51 artículos y luego de aplicar los criterios de inclusión y exclusión tras la revisión del título y resumen, se incluyen en el presente trabajo un total de 30 artículos de revistas de enfermería. Conclusión: El triaje resulta de vital importancia para un servicio de emergencia, con ello la enfermera tiene el poder de brindar la atención que corresponda al paciente, clasificándolo acorde a la valoración que realiza y en la prioridad que requiera, de manera oportuna.

Methodology: Monographic, descriptive, retrospective study through bibliographic review of scientific literature. Results: after searching the source literature, a total of 30 articles were found and after applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria after reviewing the title and abstract, a total of 20 articles from nursing journals are included in this study. Conclusion: Triage is of vital importance for an emergency service, with this the nurse has the power to provide the care that corresponds to the patient, classifying it according to the assessment made and in the priority that it requires, in a timely manner.
