Estilos de socialización parental y habilidades sociales percibidas en las adolescentes en situación de riesgo de consumo de alcohol de una Institución Educativa Estatal del distrito José Luis Bustamante y Rivero, 2018

Abstract

El desarrollo de la presente investigación busca determinar el nivel de asociación entre la variable estilos de socialización parental y las habilidades sociales en adolescentes propensas al consumo de bebidas alcohólicas. La investigación es de tipo transversal, descriptiva, correlativa y cuantitativa. La población estuvo constituida por 130 adolescentes en edad de iniciar la secundaria. Un cuestionario, el Cuestionario de Socialización Parental, una lista de medidas de habilidades sociales y una lista de cuestiones relacionadas con el consumo de alcohol constituyeron la metodología utilizada en este estudio. AUDIT. Se obtuvo como resultado que existe relación entre las variables dado que la forma en que los padres reaccionan ante el comportamiento de sus hijos está relacionada con el grado de adaptación de éstos a la hora de expresar sus pensamientos, sentimientos y preferencias. El estudio reveló que el 59% de los adolescentes en edad escolar desarrollaban sus habilidades sociales a partir de un nivel medio, normal y óptimo. Por lo tanto, se llegó a la conclusión de que existe una relación significativa entre los niveles de socialización parental de los padres y las habilidades sociales X2=63.27 con respecto a madre y X2=41.982 con respecto al padre de los adolescentes.

The development of this research seeks to determine the level of association between the variable parental socialization styles and social skills in adolescents prone to the consumption of alcoholic beverages. The research is cross-sectional, descriptive, correlative and quantitative. The population consisted of 130 adolescents of the age of starting high school. A questionnaire, the Parental Socialization Questionnaire, a list of measures of social skills, and a list of questions related to alcohol consumption constituted the methodology used in this study. It was obtained as a result that there is a relationship between the variables since the way in which parents react to the behavior of their children is related to the degree of adaptation of these when expressing their thoughts, feelings and preferences. The study revealed that 59% of school-age adolescents developed their social skills from an average, normal, and optimal level. Therefore, it was concluded that there is a significant relationship between the levels of parental socialization of the parents and the social skills X2=63.27 with respect to the mother and X2=41.982 with respect to the father of the adolescents.
