Intervención del profesional de enfermería en el manejo inicial de los pacientes politraumatizados en los servicios de emergencia

Abstract

Objetivo. Identificar la producción científica sobre el manejo inicial del paciente politraumatizados en los servicios de emergencia. Metodología. Tipo de estudio revisión bibliográfica descriptiva; retrospectivo, documental. Conformado por 30 artículos científicos. Resultados. El 40% (12) de artículos son de Perú, España y Cuba 1 articulo con un 3%. Sobre la base de datos se identifica: Scielo 33% (10), Google Académico 50% (15), Pubmed 10% (3), Lilacs 7% (2). Publicaciones por año 40% (12) fueron entre los años 2020-2021, seguido 37% (11) entre los años 2018- 2019 y un 23% (7) el año 2022, la metodología de los estudios fue cuantitativo con 80% (24) y 20% (6) cualitativo. Acerca de los tiempos en que se realizan el manejo inicial de pacientes politraumatizados; 43% (13) es entre 15 a 30 minutos, mientras que 17% (5) son de 30min - 1hora. Con ventilación y oxigenación 70% (21) lo ejecutan las enfermeras mientras el 30% (9) no especifica el ítem, en control de hemorragia 77% (23) lo realizan la enfermería y el 23% (7) no especifica este dato y manejo del dolor y valoración neurológica 70% (21) si lo ejecutan y el 30% (9) no especifican el ítem. Conclusiones. La producción científica sobre el manejo inicial del paciente politraumatizado señala que el personal de Enfermería brinda un cuidado humanizado con diagnósticos rápido y oportuno según la severidad del trauma; permitiendo de esta manera elaborar un plan de intervención en función de los requerimientos del paciente.

The scientific production on the initial management of the polytraumatized patient indicates that the nursing staff provides humanized care with rapid and timely diagnoses according to the severity of the trauma, allowing in this way to elaborate of an intervention plan according to the requirements of the patient.
