Evidencias del cuidado de enfermería en el paciente politraumatizado - servicio de emergencia

Abstract

En los últimos años se han conseguido importantes avances en el tratamiento del paciente con trauma grave, tanto en la atención prehospitalaria como en el servicio de urgencia. Además, uno de los principales ingresos al servicio de emergencia son los accidentes de tránsito, los cuales generan mucho daño a la víctima inclusive la muerte. La atención previa al traslado y ya en el establecimiento mismo de salud son cruciales para la sobrevivencia y posterior recuperación de estos pacientes. El objetivo es describir las actividades que realiza el profesional de enfermería en el cuidado del paciente politraumatizado en el servicio de emergencia. Como metodología se utilizó el estudio monográfico con diseño de investigación documental de tipo retrospectivo y se consultaron en diferentes fuentes de datos electrónicas usando operadores boléanos AND y OR. Se concluyo que en el cuidado del paciente PLT en el servicio de emergencia las intervenciones van direccionados en base al A, B, C, D del trauma y que estas se realizan teniendo en cuenta la taxonomía NIC.

In recent years, important advances have been made in the treatment of patients with severe trauma, both in prehospital care and in the emergency service. In addition, one of the main revenues to the emergency service are traffic accidents, which cause a lot of damage to the victim, including death. Care prior to transfer and already in the health facility itself are crucial for the survival and subsequent recovery of these patients. The objective is to describe the activities carried out by the nursing professional in the care of polytraumatized patients in the emergency service. As a methodology, the monographic study was used with a retrospective documentary research design and different electronic data sources were consulted using AND and OR Boolean operators. It was concluded that in the care of the PLT patient in the emergency service, the interventions are directed based on the A, B, C, D of the trauma and that these are carried out taking into account the NIC taxonomy.
