Evaluación in vitro de la adaptación de cofias metálicas fabricadas con la técnica de impresión en resina y colado por inducción, en función del ángulo de convergencia total y el espacio para el cemento

Abstract

Introducción: El desarrollo de las nuevas herramientas digitales y la inteligencia artificial abre paso a nuevas líneas de investigación en función del avance tecnológico. Con la inmersión del sistema CAD-CAM se van generando diferentes necesidades en el área docente asistencial, aplicativo y clínico. Desarrollo temático: Se ha visto conveniente abordar dicha necesidad en tres niveles diferentes empezando por un sílabo titulado “Flujo dígital en odontología”, seguido por el análisis crítico de una revisión sistemática “Fit of zirconia fixed partial dentures fabricated from conventional impressions and digital scans: A systematic review and meta-analysis”; finalizando con el proyecto de investigación “Evaluación in vitro de la adaptación de cofias metálicas fabricadas con la técnica de impresión en resina y colado por inducción, en función del ángulo de convergencia total y el espacio para el cemento”. Conclusiones: El manejo del sistema CAD-CAM demanda constante actualización, por lo que promueve el desarrollo de nuevas herramientas didácticas para el aprendizaje. Se cumplen las competencias requeridas al manejarse en los tres niveles docente asistencial, aplicativo y clínico. Sin embargo, se debe seguir trabajando en la búsqueda de nuevos enfoques que aporten un abordaje distinto para el conocimiento.

Introduction: The development of new digital tools and artificial intelligence opens the way to new lines of research based on technological progress. With the immersion of the CAD-CAM system, different needs are generated in the teaching, application and clinical area of care. Thematic development: It has been deemed appropriate to address this need at three different levels starting with a syllabus entitled "Digital flow in dentistry", followed by the critical analysis of a systematic review "Fit of zirconia fixed partial dentures fabricated from conventional impressions and digital scans: A systematic review and meta-analysis"; ending with the research project "In vitro evaluation of the adaptation of metal copings made with the technique of resin impression and induction casting, depending on the total convergence angle and the space for cement". Conclusions: The management of the CAD-CAM system demands constant updating, which is why it promotes the development of new didactic tools for learning. The required competencies are met when managing the three levels of teaching care, application and clinical. However, work must continue in the search for new approaches that provide a different approach to knowledge.
