Intervenciones no farmacológicas de enfermería en el manejo del dolor postoperatorio inmediato en pacientes en un Hospital Nacional de Lima, 2026

Abstract

Introducción: El manejo del dolor postoperatorio mediante intervenciones no farmacológicas de enfermería constituye una estrategia importante para favorecer el bienestar, confort y recuperación del paciente quirúrgico. Estas intervenciones complementan el tratamiento farmacológico, contribuyendo a disminuir la ansiedad, el estrés y las molestias posteriores a la cirugía, además de fortalecer la calidad del cuidado enfermero. Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre las intervenciones no farmacológicas de enfermería y el manejo del dolor postoperatorio inmediato en pacientes de un Hospital Nacional de Lima, 2026. Metodología La investigación será de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo experimental. La población estará conformada por 465 pacientes ingresados al servicio de recuperación de un Hospital Nacional, mientras que la muestra estará integrada por 210 pacientes seleccionados mediante muestreo probabilístico aleatorio simple y cálculo para poblaciones finitas. Técnicas e instrumentos: La recolección de datos se realizará mediante la aplicación del Cuestionario General de Confort (GCQ) y la Escala Visual Análoga (EVA). Conclusiones: Los resultados del estudio permitirán fortalecer el conocimiento científico y contribuirán a mejorar la calidad de los cuidados de enfermería orientados al manejo integral del dolor postoperatorio inmediato mediante intervenciones no farmacológicas.

Introduction: Postoperative pain management through non-pharmacological nursing interventions is an important strategy for promoting the well-being, comfort, and recovery of surgical patients. These interventions complement pharmacological treatment, helping to reduce anxiety, stress, and discomfort after surgery, as well as strengthening the quality of nursing care. Objective: To determine the relationship between non-pharmacological nursing interventions and the management of immediate postoperative pain in patients at a National Hospital in Lima, 2026. Methodology: This research will be quantitative and experimental. The population will consist of 465 patients admitted to the recovery service of a National Hospital, while the sample will consist of 210 patients selected using simple random probability sampling and calculations for finite populations. Techniques and instruments: Data collection will be carried out using the General Comfort Questionnaire (GCQ) and the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). Conclusions: The results of this study will strengthen scientific knowledge and contribute to improving the quality of nursing care focused on the comprehensive management of immediate postoperative pain through non-pharmacological interventions.
