¿Se practica el diálogo de saberes en una I.E. EIB de la provincia de Cusco,región Cusco?

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene como finalidad describir cómo se da el diálogo de saberes en una institución educativa intercultural bilingüe (EIB) ubicada en la provincia de Cusco, región Cusco. La cual se desarrolló en un contexto caracterizado por la riqueza cultural y lingüística andina, en convivencia con la globalización y la castellanización. Donde se busca identificar de qué manera ocurre el diálogo de saberes entre los actores educativos, qué actividades lo favorecen y hasta qué punto se produce la interacción entre saberes ancestrales y occidentales. La investigación tiene un enfoque cualitativo, con diseño etnográfico. Se observaron aulas de 3.º, 4.º y 6.º grado de primaria y a tres docentes. Además, se observó a dos familias durante la época de siembra de papa en la comunidad. Se realizaron entrevistas a tres estudiantes, cuatro docentes y cuatro padres de familia. Los resultados muestran que existen espacios significativos, dentro y fuera de la escuela, donde se practica el diálogo de saberes, como ferias gastronómicas, salidas pedagógicas y preparación de medicina tradicional. También se evidenció la participación de sabios y sabias de la comunidad en el espacio educativo, una integración moderada de saberes ancestrales en el currículo y una valoración del conocimiento local por parte de los actores educativos. Sin embargo, se identificaron desafíos como la falta de sistematización, la oposición de algunos padres frente a la enseñanza del quechua y la necesidad de fortalecer el rol docente como mediador intercultural. Se concluye que sí se practica el diálogo de saberes, aunque aún requiere fortalecerse.

The purpose of this research is to describe how the dialogue of knowledge takes place in an intercultural bilingual educational institution (EIB) located in the province of Cusco, Cusco region. The institution was developed in a context characterized by Andean cultural and linguistic richness, coexisting with globalization and Spanish-speaking communities. The aim is to identify how the dialogue of knowledge occurs among educational stakeholders, what activities foster it, and to what extent interaction between ancestral and Western knowledge occurs. The research has a qualitative approach, with an ethnographic design. Third, fourth, and sixth grade primary school classrooms and three teachers were observed. Two families were also observed during the community's potato planting season. Interviews were conducted with three students, four teachers, and four parents. The results show that there are significant spaces, both inside and outside the school, where knowledge exchange is practiced, such as food fairs, field trips, and traditional medicine preparation. The participation of community elders in the educational space was also evident, along with a moderate integration of ancestral knowledge into the curriculum, and an appreciation of local knowledge by educational stakeholders. However, challenges were identified, such as a lack of systematization, some parents' opposition to teaching quechua, and the need to strengthen the teacher's role as intercultural mediator. Itis concluded that knowledge dialogue is practiced, although it still needs to be strengthened.
