Afrontamiento de los padres frente a la hospitalización del recién nacido prematuro en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales de un hospital público, Huancayo 2024

Abstract

Para los padres, el nacimiento de un hijo prematuro y su hospitalización en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales (UCIN) es un suceso, para el cual no están preparados, frente a esto presentan diferentes formas de afrontamiento para responder a las demandas internas y externas de la situación creada, el cual conlleva una serie de cambios que alteran su rutina cotidiana y producen estrés. Objetivos: Determinar el afrontamiento de los padres frente a la hospitalización del recién nacido prematuro en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales de un Hospital Público, Huancayo 2024. Diseño: Enfoque cuantitativo, diseño descriptivo y de corte transversal. Población: Estará conformada por 50 padres de recién nacidos prematuros hospitalizados en la UCI Neonatales. Recolección de datos: Se presentará la investigación al comité de ética de la UPCH para su respectiva aprobación, posterior a ello se solicitará el permiso correspondiente a la Dirección del Hospital Docente Materno Infantil el Carmen, así como al Departamento de Enfermería y a la jefa del servicio de Neonatología. La técnica: La encuesta. Instrumento: El cuestionario de afrontamiento COPE – 28. Análisis de Datos: Los datos serán organizados en el programa Excel y se presentarán en gráficos y cuadros estadísticos con el correspondiente análisis.
