Validación de la Nursing Activities Score para medir carga laboral de enfermería en el Servicio de Cuidados Intensivos del HNASS – Lima, 2021

Abstract

Los altos costes de los cuidados intensivos, así como la calidad de los mismos y la seguridad de los pacientes ponen de relieve la necesidad de disponer de sistemas de medida de carga de trabajo que determinen de manera precisa los requerimientos del personal de enfermería. El presente proyecto de investigación titulado “Validación de la Nursing Activities Score (NAS) para medir la carga laboral de enfermería en el servicio de cuidados intensivos del HNASS – Lima, 2021”. Estudio no experimental con enfoque cuantitativo descriptivo prospectivo de corte transversal, tiene como objetivo determinar la validez y confiabilidad de la versión en castellano de la escala NAS en el contexto nacional. Para determinar la validez y confiabilidad se aplicará un juicio de expertos compuesto por 10 enfermeros(as) según los criterios de selección especificados en el presente estudio. El resultado de juicio de expertos será evaluado mediante la prueba binomial. Una significancia estadística inferior a 0.05 será evidencia de validez del instrumento según el criterio evaluado (contenido, constructo, criterio). La confiabilidad del instrumento NAS será evaluado mediante muestra piloto compuesta por 30 registros de puntuación NAS aplicado a 30 pacientes por las enfermeras del hospital Nacional Alberto Sabogal Sologuren. Para realizar la confiabilidad, se utilizará el estadístico alfa de Cronbach (variable politónica), un valor superior a 0.7 de dicho estadístico será evidencia de confiabilidad del instrumento. Se trabajará a un nivel de significancia estadística de 0.05 y los resultados serán presentados en tablas.

The high costs of intensive care, as well as its quality and patient safety highlight the need for workload measurement systems that accurately determine the requirements of the nursing staff. The present research project entitled "Validation of the Nursing Activities Score (NAS) to measure the nursing workload in the intensive care service of the HNASS - Lima, 2021". Non-experimental study with a cross-sectional prospective descriptive quantitative approach, the objective of which is to determine the validity and reliability of the Spanish version of the NAS scale in the national context. To determine the validity and reliability, an expert judgment made up of 10 nurses will be applied according to the selection criteria specified in the present study. The result of expert judgment will be evaluated using the binomial test. A statistical significance lower than 0.05 will be evidence of the validity of the instrument according to the evaluated criterion (content, construct, criterion). The reliability of the NAS instrument will be evaluated by means of a pilot sample composed of 30 NAS score records applied to 30 patients by the nurses of the Alberto Sabogal Sologuren National Hospital. To perform the reliability, the Cronbach's alpha statistic (polytonic variable) will be used, a value greater than 0.7 of said statistic will be evidence of the instrument's reliability. It will work at a level of statistical significance of 0.05 and the results will be presented in tables.
