Calidad de vida relacionada a salud oral en gestantes que acuden al Servicio de Gineco Obstetricia del Hospital Regional del Cusco, Cusco-Perú, 2023

Abstract

Introducción: El presente portafolio busca identificar la percepción que tienen las gestantes sobre la calidad de vida y como el estado de su salud bucal afecta en esta, en diferentes dimensiones. Es fundamental para abordar a esta población tan susceptible y dispuesta al cambio en pro de la importancia de una salud bucal idónea. Desarrollo temático: En el presente portafolio en sus tres facetas: formulación de docencia universitaria formulando el syllabus y su contenido en relación a la calidad de vida, el análisis de bibliografía analizar el uso de diferentes instrumentos que nos ayudan a cuantificar la percepción de calidad de vida en relación oral; General Oral Health Assement Index (GOHAI); así como el uso de índices para calificar el estado de la cavidad bucal como es el índice Cariado, perdido obturado (CPOD) Conclusiones: Identificar la importancia de calidad de vida relacionada directamente con la salud bucal es factor clave para determinar las herramientas claves con el objetivo de concientizar a la madre sobre la importancia de la salud bucal y así esta alcance una salud bucal optima en ella y sus hijos.

Introduction: This portfolio seeks to identify the perception that pregnant women have about the quality of life and how the state of their oral health affects the different dimensions. It is essential to address this population so susceptible and willing to change in favor of the importance of ideal oral health. Thematic development: In the present portfolio in its three facets: formulation of university teaching formulating the syllabus and its content in relation to the quality of life, the analysis of the bibliography, analysing the use of different instruments that help us to quantify the perception of quality of life in oral relation; General Oral Health Assessment Index (GOHAI); as well as the use of indices to qualify the state of the oral cavity, such as the Decayed, Lost Filled (CPOD) index. Conclusions: Identifying the importance of quality of life directly related to oral health is a key factor to determine the key tools with the aim of making mothers aware of the importance of oral health and thus achieve optimal oral health in herself and her children.
