Abstract

El rol de enfermería de práctica avanzada en entornos de emergencia puede mejorar los resultados de los pacientes ya que garantiza la realización de técnicas y procedimientos adecuados a la situación de la manera más eficiente, eficaz y de calidad, por lo que, es necesario resaltar la importancia del criterio profesional para iniciar una reanimación y un buen manejo de los equipos ante una reanimación cardiopulmonar ya que es una técnica que salva vida y que afectará el pronóstico de las personas que tengan o no oportunidad de vida. Objetivo. Describir el rol del profesional de enfermería en el manejo del coche de paro en los servicios de emergencia en los últimos 5 años. Metodología: El tipo de estudio de esta investigación es una revisión bibliográfica de tipo retrospectivo siendo estos de los últimos 5 años de las diferentes bases de datos: MEDLINE, SCIELO, PUBMED, LILACS, CUIDEN y DIALNET seleccionando los artículos que mejor respondían a los objetivos planteados. Conclusión: El rol del personal de enfermería en el manejo del coche de paro es muy importante ya que les obliga tener competencias y habilidades para prestar atención inmediata, segura y oportuna, participando a su vez, en la atención directa con del equipo de salud, ya que el buen manejo del coche determinará la probabilidad de vida del paciente, por ser este un elemento indispensable para salvar vidas siendo el más empleado en los diferentes tipos de emergencias.
