Consejería de enfermería para el manejo de la incertidumbre en las madres frente a la hospitalización de sus recién nacidos prematuros

Abstract

Se estima que, en el Perú el 46,5% de las defunciones son por muerte neonatal y la mayor de las causas de muerte está relacionada con la prematuridad en un 26%, condicionando a este recién nacido a una hospitalización, cuyo estado de salud, proceso de internamiento y pronóstico genera en las madres una incertidumbre que necesita de estrategias para poder afrontarla de la mejor forma. Objetivo: determinar la efectividad de la consejería de enfermería para disminuir el nivel de incertidumbre de las madres frente a la hospitalización de sus recién nacidos prematuros en la unidad de cuidados intensivos neonatales. Material y Método: de tipo cuantitativo, diseño pre experimental, con una población de 19 madres, se aplicará una encuesta elaborada por Mishel, validada y adaptada en el 2019, modificada por la autora, siendo sometida al juicio de 10 expertos y la confiabilidad se realizará mediante una prueba piloto con 8 madres. Plan de análisis: Los datos serán cuantificados bajo un sistema computarizado, empleando el paquete estadístico SPSS versión 21 y finalmente se usará T de student para la comprobación de las hipótesis.

It is estimated that, in Peru, 46.5% of deaths are due to neonatal death and the largest cause of death is related to prematurity in 26%, conditioning this newborn to hospitalization, whose state of health, process of hospitalization and prognosis generates in mothers an uncertainty that needs strategies to be able to face it in the best way. Objective: to determine the effectiveness of nursing counseling to reduce the level of uncertainty of mothers regarding the hospitalization of their premature newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit. Material and Method: quantitative type, pre-experimental design, with a population of 19 mothers, a survey prepared by Mishel will be applied, validated and adapted in 2019, modified by the author, being submitted to the judgment of 10 experts and the reliability will be carried out through a pilot test with 8 mothers. Analysis plan: The data will be quantified under a computerized system, using the statistical package SPSS version 21 and finally Student's T will be used to test the hypotheses.
