Efectividad de un sistema de triaje y la disminución del tiempo de espera de los pacientes que acuden al servicio de emergencia de una clínica de Lima

Abstract

Objetivo: determinar la efectividad de un sistema de triaje en la disminución del tiempo de espera de los pacientes que acuden al servicio de emergencia. Tipo de estudio: utilizará el método Experimental porque existirá un grupo control, cumpliendo con las características de manipulación intencional de las variables, también se medirá el efecto de la variable independiente sobre la variable dependiente, tendiendo un control y validez interno y externo, aplicando el sistema de triaje. Área de estudio: se realizará en la Clínica San Pablo, el cual pertenece al sector privado, ubicado en la Av. el Polo N° 789 en el distrito de Santiago de Surco. Población: La población y objeto de estudio son los pacientes que acuden al servicio de emergencia de la clínica San Pablo. La producción de pacientes para el año 2014 fue un total de 14, 400 pacientes atendidos anualmente. Se trata de una población finita en la cual seleccionaremos una muestra que sea representativa, considerándose los siguientes criterios de inclusión y exclusión y la producción de pacientes que fueron de 14, 400. Muestra: se considerará un total de55 pacientes que acuden por una atención. Para la recolección de datos se aplicará la técnica de Observación y como instrumento se utilizarán dos listas de Chequeo. El instrumento a utilizar se encuentra validado por anteriores proyectos en su aplicación, quien ha variado su instrumento para la colecta de datos. Se coordinará la autorización ala Institución para aplicar el instrumento de investigación, teniendo presente las consideraciones éticas respetando el principio de autonomía, beneficencia, no maleficencia y justicia. Tabulación y análisis: se efectivizará al analizar los resultados obtenidos al aplicar el proyecto de investigación.

The observation technique will be used for data collection, and two checklists will be used as research instruments. The instrument to beused has been validated through its application in previous projects, in which the data collection instrument was modified. Authorization will be sought from the institution to apply the research instrument, taking into account ethical considerations and respecting the principles of autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence, and justice. Tabulation and analysis: This will be carried out by analyzing the results obtained from the implementation of the research project.
