Desarrollo y evaluación de un prototipo de aplicativo móvil dirigido a médicos para mejorar el acceso a la información acerca del SIS

Abstract

Actualmente la información disponible sobre el Seguro Integral de Salud es confusa, se encuentra muchas veces desactualizada y fragmentada en distintos portales web pertenecientes al Estado. Este hecho genera muchas veces, confusión en la población. Además, el acceso no es fácil ni intuitivo para el médico que busca información específica. El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo desarrollar y evaluar un prototipo de aplicativo móvil dirigido a médicos para mejorar el acceso a la información acerca del SIS. Como parte de la metodología se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas a los médicos asistentes, residentes e internos del Hospital Cayetano Heredia a fin de explorar sus necesidades de información sobre el SIS. Con la información colectada se desarrolló el prototipo de aplicativo haciendo uso del software "Marvel". Finalmente, se realizó la evaluación del prototipo mediante el protocolo de usabilidad “Think-Aloud”. El prototipo llamado “MasterSIS” obtuvo comentarios muy positivos por parte de los médicos. Ellos reportaron que les pareció útil, de fácil uso y sobre todo resaltaron el contenido de la información, por lo que les gustaría tenerlo para realizar sus labores diarias.

Currently the information available regarding Comprehensive Health Insurance is confusing, this information is often outdated and fragmented in different governmental web portals. This issue generates several times, confusion in the population. Furthermore, access is neither easy nor intuitive for physicians seeking specific information regarding SIS. The objective of this study was to develop and evaluate a prototype of a mobile application aimed at doctors to improve access to information about SIS. As part of the methodology, semi-structured interviews were conducted with the attending physicians, residents and interns of the Cayetano Heredia Hospital in order to explore their information needs about the SIS. With the information collected, the application prototype was developed using the "Marvel" software. Finally, the evaluation of the prototype was carried out using the "Think-Aloud" usability protocol. The prototype called "MasterSIS" received positive comments from doctors. They reported that they found it useful, easy to use and above all highlighted the content of the information, so they would like to have it available to carry out their daily tasks.
