El uso de materiales no estructurados, contextualizados para la enseñanza de una escuela EIB del distrito de Marangani

Abstract

Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo describir el uso de materiales no estructurados, incorporados del contexto sociocultural de los y las estudiantes en una escuela (EIB) en el distrito de Marangani. Por ello, se exploró el uso de insumos del entorno, contextualizados para el aprendizaje en diversas áreas curriculares. El enfoque de la investigación fue cualitativo y se fundamentó en un diseño etnográfico educativo. Este estudio surgió a partir de las observaciones realizadas durante las prácticas profesionales, específicamente sobre el uso de materiales no estructurados en el proceso de aprendizaje en la escuela EIB. A partir de esta experiencia, se planteó la siguiente interrogante: ¿Cuáles son los materiales no estructurados del contexto sociocultural y cómo se usan para el desarrollo de los aprendizajes de los niños y niñas en una escuela EIB del distrito de Maranganí? Las técnicas que ayudaron a la recopilación de datos fueron la observación participante en el aula o espacio educativo y las entrevistas semiestructuradas a tres docentes, cuatro estudiantes de primaria (dos niños y dos niñas entre ocho y 11 años) y cuatro madres de familia. En conclusión, los materiales no estructurados del entorno son utilizados mediante procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje en diversas áreas. Además, los actores coinciden en valorar el uso de estos materiales para la obtención de aprendizajes significativos. Asimismo, el trabajo con estos materiales genera repercusiones positivas en los estudiantes. Incluso se identificó el involucramiento de los padres como apoyo en el uso de dichos materiales.

This research aimed to describe the use of unstructured materials incorporated from the sociocultural context of students in an Intercultural Bilingual Education (IBE) school located in the district of Maranganí. To this end, the study explored the use of locally sourced inputs contextualized for learning across various curricular areas. The research followed a qualitative approach and was grounded in an educational ethnographic design. This study emerged from observations conducted during professional teaching practices, specifically regarding the use of unstructured materials in the learning process within the IBE school. Based on this formative experience, the following guiding question was posed: What are the unstructured materials derived from the sociocultural context, and how are they used to support the learning development of children in an IBE school in the district of Maranganí? The data collection techniques included participant observation within the classroom or educational setting, and semi-structured interviews with three teachers, four primary school students (two boys and two girls between eight and eleven years old), and four mothers. In conclusion, unstructured materials from the environment are employed through teaching and learning processes across different subject areas. Furthermore, the educational stakeholders recognize and value the use of such materials for fostering meaningful learning. Likewise, the use of these materials has positive effects on students. The research also identified the active involvement of parents as support in the use of these educational resources.
