Proceso de extubación en pacientes con ventilación mecánica y el nivel de conocimiento sobre los cuidados brindados por el personal de enfermería en la unidad de cuidados intensivos de un hospital del MINSA 2023

Abstract

El objetivo del estudio es: determinar la relación entre el proceso de extubación en pacientes con ventilación mecánica y el nivel de conocimiento sobre los cuidados brindados por el personal de enfermería en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos del Hospital Regional de Ayacucho Miguel Ángel Mariscal Llerena 2023. Material y método: estudio de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo, de nivel de investigación descriptivo correlacional simple ya que se demostrará la relación entre variables, de corte transversal pues se realizará haciendo un corte en el tiempo. Población estará constituida por 35 licenciadas que se encuentren laborando en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos durante los meses de junio, julio y agosto en el Hospital Regional de Ayacucho, la muestra estará constituida por el total de la población por ser una muestra pequeña, se utilizara como técnica, la aplicación de una encuesta: “Competencia de Enfermería en la atención del paciente en proceso de destete y extubación en ventilación mecánica”, previo consentimiento informado teniendo en cuenta los principios de la declaración de Helsinki.

The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between the extubation process in mechanically ventilated patients and the level of knowledge about the care provided by nursing staff in the Intensive Care Unit of the Miguel Ángel Mariscal Llerena Regional Hospital in Ayacucho in 2023. Materials and methods: This quantitative, descriptive study is a simple correlational study, as it will demonstrate the relationship between variables. It is a cross-sectional study, as it will be conducted at a single point in time. The population will consist of 35 registered nurses working in the Intensive Care Unit during the months of June, July, and August at the Ayacucho Regional Hospital. The sample will consist of the entire population, given its small size. The data collection technique will be a survey titled "Nursing Competence in the Care of Patients in the Weaning and Extubation Process from Mechanical Ventilation," administered after obtaining informed consent in accordance with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki.
