Estabilidad primaria en implantes con tratamiento de superficies diferentes en pacientes de la Clínica Odontológica de la UPCH

Abstract

Introducción: Los implantes dentales han marcado un gran avance en la rehabilitación oral, la capacidad de biocompatibilidad del titanio ha hecho que este sea material sustrato para investigaciones en su tratamiento, con el fin de mejorarlo. La estabilidad primaria y secundaria de un implante, determina el éxito del implante, por lo tanto, se han realizado múltiples tratamientos al implante tanto en estructura como en superficie para que en tipos de poca densidad ósea tipo III y IV, la estabilidad ósea sea favorable y el implante se osteointegre con éxito. Objetivo: El objetivo de este trabajo de investigación es evaluar y comparar la estabilidad primaria de dos tipos de implantes de diferentes características de tratamiento de superficie. Materiales y Métodos: Se seleccionarán pacientes de la clínica odontológica de la Universidad Cayetano Heredia que cumplan con los criterios de selección, se realizara análisis mediante examen clínico, radiográfico y tomográfico, una vez seleccionados se realizara procedimiento quirúrgico con anestesia local, se instalaran dos tipos de implantes a los cuales se les medirá el ISQ inmediatamente después de haber sido insertados en la cresta alveolar seleccionada. Los implantes de UNITITE tienen una superficie de hidroxiapatita muy fina que la hace hidrófila y los implantes BIONNOVATION que tiene una superficie rugosa a causa del tratamiento acido secuenciado; ambos implantes de diferentes tipos de superficies serán utilizados en este estudio. Conclusion: El tratamiento de ssuperficie en lo implante puede aumenta la estabilidad primaria.

Introduction: Dental implants have marked a breakthrough in oral rehabilitation, the biocompatibility capacity of titanium has made it a substrate material for research in its treatment, in order to improve it. The primary and secondary stability of an implant, determines the success of the implant, therefore, multiple treatments have been performed to the implant both in structure and surface so that in types of low bone density type III and IV, bone stability is favorable and the implant is successfully osseointegrated. Objective: The objective of this research is to evaluate and compare the primary stability of two types of implants with different surface treatment characteristics. Materials and Methods: Patients will be selected from the dental clinic of the Cayetano Heredia University who meet the selection criteria, analysis will be performed by clinical, radiographic and tomographic examination, once selected, a surgical procedure will be performed under local anesthesia, two types of implants will be installed and the ISQ will be measured immediately after being inserted in the selected alveolar ridge. The UNITITE implants have a very thin hydroxyapatite surface which makes it hydrophilic and the BIONNOVATION implants have a rough surface due to the sequential acid treatment; both implants with different types of surfaces will be used in this study. Conclusion: Surface treatment on the implant can increase primary stability.
