Autoestima y consumo de alcohol en mujeres atendidas en el centro de salud 1-3 Micaela Bastidas

Abstract

El presente estudio de investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre la autoestima y el consumo de alcohol en mujeres atendidas en el Centro de Salud 1-3 Micaela Bastidas; siendo una investigación por su finalidad básica de carácter correlacional, de naturaleza cuantitativa con diseño no experimental, transversal, con una muestra de 150 usuarias, utilizando la técnica para recopilar información como la encuesta, basado en dos cuestionarios para ambas variables de estudio. Los resultados determinaron que existe relación negativa y significativa entre la autoestima y el consumo de alcohol en mujeres atendidas en el Centro de Salud 1-3 Micaela Bastidas, con un coeficiente de correlación de Rho de Spearman = -,154* y un p valor =0.05 <0.05. Así mismo se determinó relación negativa y significativa entre la dimensión Si mismo-general (Rho de Spearman= -,157*; p=0.045< 0.05) con el consumo de alcohol. En tanto no existió relación entre las dimensiones Social-pares (Rho de Spearman= -.086; p=0.274> 0.05) y Hogar (Rho de Spearman= -.088; p=0.266>0.05) respecto al consumo de alcohol.

The objective of this research study was to determine the relationship between self-esteem and alcohol consumption in women attended at the Micaela Bastidas 1-3 Health Center; Being an investigation for its basic purpose of a correlational nature, of a quantitative nature with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design, with a sample of 150 users, using the technique to collect information such as the survey, based on two questionnaires for both study variables. The results determined that there is a negative and significant relationship between self-esteem and alcohol consumption in women treated at the Micaela Bastidas Health Center 1-3, with a Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient = -.154* and a p value = 0.05 <0.05. Likewise, a negative and significant relationship was determined between the Self-general dimension (Spearman's Rho= -.157*; p=0.045< 0.05) with alcohol consumption. Meanwhile, there was no relationship between the Social-peer dimensions (Spearman's Rho= -.086; p=0.274> 0.05) and Home (Spearman's Rho= -.088; p=0.266>0.05) regarding alcohol consumption.
