Intervenciones de enfermería aplicadas en el cuidado a pacientes con accidente cerebro vascular isquémico en los servicios de emergencia

Abstract

El accidente cerebrovascular isquémico (ACVi) conocido como infarto cerebral representa el 85%, causado por una obstrucción que detiene el flujo de sangre al cerebro, conlleva a la tercera causa de mortalidad y a la primera en discapacidad adquirida en el adulto mayor, la adecuada clasificación de prioridades nos podría permitir a mejorar el tiempo de respuesta y el éxito del tratamiento, la provisión de cuidados efectivos de enfermería en emergencia son esenciales durante todas las etapas de atención del ACVi. Objetivo: Describir las intervenciones de enfermería basadas en evidencia que garantizan un cuidado seguro a pacientes con ACV isquémico en los servicios de Emergencia. Metodología: Revisión bibliográfica en bases de datos: Medline, Bvs, Scielo, Science direct, Alicia, PubMed y Google académico. Resultados: Se destaca la importancia de las intervenciones realizadas por la enfermera de emergencias en los pacientes con ACVi. Se enfatiza en las intervenciones desarrolladas con el tratamiento trombolítico rt-PA, donde es de vital importancia considerar el tiempo transcurrido desde el inicio de los síntomas para tomar decisiones oportunas y maximizar los beneficios del tratamiento. Conclusión: El tiempo de respuesta ante un paciente con ACVi es crucial, mientras más rápido se actúe el paciente tiene más probabilidades de recuperación, para ello la enfermera de emergencias representa un pilar fundamental tanto en el tratamiento agudo como en los cuidados posteriores de pacientes con ACV isquémico. Valoran, intervienen y vigilan a los pacientes antes, durante y después de la trombólisis.

Results: The importance of the interventions carried out by the emergency nurse in patients with stroke is highlighted. Emphasis is placed on the interventions developed with rt-PA thrombolytic treatment, where it is vitally important to consider the time elapsed since the onset of symptoms to make timely decisions and maximize the benefits of the treatment. Conclusion: The response time to a patient with stroke is crucial, the faster the patient acts, the more likely they are to recover. For this reason, the emergency nurse represents a fundamental pillar in both the acute treatment and subsequent care of patients with stroke. Ischemic stroke.
