Nivel de conocimiento y adherencia terapéutica sobre hipertensión arterial en pacientes con enfermedad renal crónica en un hospital público de Lima, 2025

Abstract

La hipertensión arterial constituye un elemento determinante en la génesis y evolución de la ERC, por lo que su control efectivo es crucial para mitigar la probabilidad de eventos adversos y desacelerar la progresión del daño nefrológico. El éxito en el manejo terapéutico de esta condición está intrínsecamente ligado al nivel de comprensión que tiene el usuario respecto a su diagnóstico, así como a su capacidad para mantener una adherencia constante al tratamiento prescrito. Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de conocimiento y grado de adherencia terapéutica sobre hipertensión arterial en pacientes con enfermedad renal crónica en un hospital público de Lima, 2025. Materiales y Métodos: El estudio será de tipo descriptivo correlacional. Los participantes por investigar estarán constituidos por 150 pacientes con ERC hospitalizados en el servicio de medicina. Se emplearán dos formularios de encuesta previamente validadas: Cuestionario de conocimiento sobre hipertensión y Test de Morisky-Green-Levine, la encuesta será la técnica utilizada para medir el conocimiento y grado de adherencia terapéutica. El estudio de la estadística se llevará a cabo utilizando el software SPSS, versión 27. Para la evaluación de la correlación entre los resultados, se aplicará el test estadístico de Chi cuadrado.

Arterial hypertension is a determining element in the genesis and evolution of CKD, so its effective control is crucial to mitigate the probability of adverse events and slow the progression of nephrological damage. Success in the therapeutic management of this condition is intrinsically linked to the user's level of understanding of his or her diagnosis, as well as his or her ability to maintain constant adherence to the prescribed treatment. Objective: To determine the level of knowledge and degree of therapeutic adherence to arterial hypertension in patients with chronic kidney disease in a public hospital in Lima, 2025. Materials and Methods: The study will be a descriptive correlational study. The participants to be investigated will consist of 150 patients with CKD hospitalized in the medical service. Two previously validated survey forms will be used: the Hypertension Knowledge Questionnaire and the Morisky-Green-Levine Test; the survey will be the technique used to measure knowledge and degree of therapeutic adherence. The statistical study will be carried out using SPSS software, version 27. For the evaluation of the correlation between the results, the Chi-square test will be applied.
