Características sociodemográficas y clínicas relacionadas con la funcionalidad de pacientes del programa de rehabilitación cardiaca en un instituto de EsSalud de Lima, 2019

Abstract

Antecedentes: Los Programas de Rehabilitación Cardiaca (PRC) tienen como fin y función, mejorar la calidad de vida y optimizar el pronóstico de los pacientes con enfermedades cardiovasculares; estos, tienen diferentes características y realidades que les podría significar oportunidades o debilidades en su vida. Durante la Fase II del PRC, el ejercicio físico es el pilar del programa, complementado con el control de los factores de riesgo cardiovascular y estilos de vida saludables. Objetivo: Determinar las características sociodemográficas y clínicas relacionadas con la funcionalidad de los pacientes del Programa de Rehabilitación Cardiaca en un Instituto de EsSalud, Lima – 2019. Material y método: El presente proyecto es de tipo observacional, de enfoque cuantitativo, retrospectivo, de corte transversal y de tipo correlacional. Se investigará a todos los pacientes que hayan culminado la Fase II del PRC y que no hayan obtenido mejoras funcionales en su capacidad cardiaca, tomados de una muestra aleatoria simple de 256 pacientes. Recolección de Datos: Como técnica se utilizará la documentación con una ficha de recolección de datos que contenga ítems específicos para obtener la información necesaria. Plan de tabulación y análisis: Se realizará un análisis descriptivo univariado y bivariado, para inferenciar la relación entre variables, se utilizará la prueba de Shapiro–Wilk y la Prueba T para muestras relacionadas con un valor p esperado (p<0,05).

Background: The purpose and function of Cardiac Rehabilitation Programs (CRP) is to improve the quality of life and optimize the prognosis of patients with cardiovascular diseases; These have different characteristics and realities that could mean opportunities or weaknesses in their lives. Objective: To determine the sociodemographic and clinical characteristics related to the functionality of the patients of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program in an EsSalud Institute, Lima - 2019. Material and method: The present project is of an observational type, with a quantitative, retrospective, cross-sectional approach. cross-sectional and correlational type. All patients who have completed Phase II of the PRC and who have not obtained functional improvements in their cardiac capacity, taken from a simple random sample of 256 patients, will be investigated. Data Collection: As a technique, documentation will be used with a data collection sheet that contains specific items to obtain the necessary information. Tabulation and analysis plan: A descriptive univariate and bivariate analysis will be carried out, to infer the relationship between variables, the Shapiro–Wilk test and the T Test will be used for related samples with an expected p value (p<0.05).
