Autoestima y consumo de alcohol en alumnas de un colegio público de Arequipa

Abstract

La presente investigación denominada autoestima y consumo de alcohol en alumnas de un Colegio Público de Arequipa, la misma que tiene como objetivo general establecer la asociación que se da entre la autoestima y el consumo en alumnas del quinto año de secundaria. La investigación se enmarca dentro del nivel descriptivo correlacional con un diseño de investigación no experimental de tipo transeccional o transversal correlacional. La muestra estuvo conformada por 121 alumnas del quinto de secundaria, para el muestreo se hizo uso del método no probabilístico de tipo intencional. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron la Escala de autoestima de Rosenberg y el Test AUDIT. El principal resultado encontrado es que existe buena relación entre las variables autoestima y consumo de alcohol, lo cual fue demostrado con la prueba estadística no paramétrica del Chi – Cuadrado y el Coeficiente de Contingencia de Pearson.

The present investigation denominated self-esteem and level of consumption of alcohol in students in a Public School of Arequipa, the same one that has like general objective To establish the association that occurs between the self-esteem and level of consumption in students of the fifth high school year. The research is framed within the descriptive correlational level with a non-experimental research design of transectional or cross-correlation type. The sample consisted of 121 students from the fifth year of high school, for sampling the non-probabilistic method of intentional type was used. The instruments used were the Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale and the AUDIT Test. The main result found is that there is a good relationship between the variables self - esteem and alcohol consumption, which was demonstrated with the nonparametric statistical test of the Chi - Square and the Pearson Coefficient of Contingency.
