Percepción del cuidado de enfermería y satisfacción de los padres del recién nacido hospitalizado en la UCIN de un hospital nivel III de Lima, 2024

Abstract

El objetivo de los cuidados de enfermería neonatal es satisfacer las necesidades del recién nacido, teniendo en cuenta que los primeros días de vida del bebé son cruciales y que existen evidencias de un alto riesgo de muerte en este momento. Para recabar información que permita a las autoridades responder adecuadamente, es necesario preguntar a los padres sobre su percepción y satisfacción con los cuidados que reciben del profesional de enfermería. Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre percepción del cuidado de enfermería y satisfacción de los padres del recién nacido hospitalizado en la Unidad de cuidados intensivos neonatal (UCIN), de un hospital nivel III de Lima 2024. Materiales y Métodos: Se desarrollará una investigación con enfoque cuantitativo, descriptivo, tipo de corte transversal, correlacional. Muestra de 100 padres de familia de recién nacidos hospitalizados en UCIN que satisfacen los criterios de inclusión y exclusión propuestos, los datos serán recopilados mediante dos instrumentos que cumplen la validez y confiabilidad, para ser aplicados a padres de recién nacidos atendidos. Procesamiento y Análisis de datos: Tras la utilización de los instrumentos, los datos se importarán a Microsoft Excel y se procesarán mediante el programa estadístico SPSS versión 26.0. Los resultados se evaluarán en dos fases: la primera será descriptiva y se presentará a través de tablas y gráficos, mientras que la segunda será inferencial y se presentará a través del coeficiente de correlación de Spearman. La información será entregada a las autoridades pertinentes para que puedan tomar decisiones que beneficien tanto a los pacientes neonatales como a los profesionales de enfermería.

The objective of neonatal nursing care is to meet the needs of the newborn, taking into account that the first days of the baby's life are crucial and that there is evidence of a high risk of death at this time. To gather information that allows authorities to respond appropriately, it is necessary to ask parents about their perception and satisfaction with the care they receive from the nursing professional. Objective: Determine the relationship between the perception of nursing care and satisfaction of the parents of the newborn hospitalized in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), of a level III hospital in Lima 2024. Materials and Methods: A research approach will be developed quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional type, correlational. Sample of 60 parents of newborns hospitalized in the NICU who satisfy the proposed inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data will be collected using two instruments that meet validity and reliability, to be applied to parents of newborns cared for. Data Processing and Analysis: After using the instruments, the data will be imported into Microsoft Excel and processed using the statistical program SPSS version 26.0. The results will be evaluated in two phases: the first will be descriptive and will be presented through tables and graphs, while the second will be inferential and will be presented through the Spearman correlation coefficient. The information will be delivered to the relevant authorities so that they can make decisions that benefit both neonatal patients and nursing professionals.
