Autocuidado de la enfermera y la prevención de riesgos ergonómicos en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos

Abstract

Objetivo: Describir el autocuidado de la enfermera y la prevención de riesgos ergonómicos en la unidad de cuidados intensivos. Material y métodos: Se consideró una metodología de tipo descriptiva, realizándose una revisión bibliográfica, lográndose analizar un total de 20 artículos científicos obtenidos de las siguientes bases de datos: TANDFONLINE, SCIENCEDIRECT y ELSEVIER, de revistas como, por ejemplo: Revista Brasileira de Enfermagem, International Journal of Nursing Sciences, BMC Palliative Care, AORN, Chronobiology International, Journal of Nursing Management, Religions, Crit Care Nurse, Provenance and Peer review, Intensive & Critical Care Nursing, Health and the Environment Journal, Health Promot Perspect, Work, Int. J. Environ. Res. Public Health y Workplace Health & Safety Resultados: se obtuvo que, existen riesgos ergonómicos en las enfermeras que se manifiestan en el brazo, la parte superior de la espalda y la parte inferior de la espalda antes y después de la intervención, y para prevenir sería usar equipos y dispositivos de elevación y controles ergonómicos, políticas de educación, mientras que, entre las estrategias de autocuidado, se enuncia a las relaciones interpersonales, la actitud positiva, la higiene emocional y las condiciones en el trabajo. Conclusiones: Los riesgos a los que están expuestos las enfermeras, son de gran importancia y para poder brindar un cuidado adecuado al paciente, se debe encontrarse en condiciones adecuadas.

Objective: To describe the self-care of the nurse and the prevention of ergonomic risks in the intensive care unit. Results: it was obtained that, there are ergonomic risks in nurses that are manifested in the arm, upper part of the back and lower part of the back before and after the intervention, and to prevent it would be to use lifting equipment and devices and ergonomic controls, education policies, while among the self-care strategies, interpersonal relationships, positive attitude, emotional hygiene and conditions at work are listed. Conclusions: The risks to which nurses are exposed are of great importance and in order to provide adequate care to the patient, they must be in adequate conditions.
