Efectividad de un programa educativo para el uso del equipo de protección personal durante el COVID 19 en las enfermeras del área de centro quirúrgico de un hospital MINSA

Abstract

La Pandemia del Coronavirus, COVID 19, llegó repentinamente al mundo caracterizada por su alta velocidad de contagio y su letalidad. Los controles, para reducir la velocidad de contagio, son la prevención y el aislamiento de las personas contagiadas. La letalidad es controlada con tratamiento médico-hospitalario. Quienes laboran en un hospital tienen alta probabilidad de contagiarse y ver afectada su salud y la de su entorno familiar. El presente trabajo es un aporte al cuidado del personal de Enfermería que labora en el Centro Quirúrgico de un hospital, basado en la aplicación de un Programa Educativo para el Uso de Equipo de Protección Personal (EPP). Objetivo: Determinar la efectividad de un Programa Educativo para el uso del Equipo de Protección Personal durante el Covid 19, en las enfermeras del Área de Centro Quirúrgico de un Hospital. Material y Métodos: Tiene un enfoque cuantitativo, diseño pre experimental, tipo analítico, transversal. Se aplicará la técnica guía de observación y como instrumento el chek list. Recolección de Datos: Se realizará un pre test para determinar el uso del EPP. Luego, se realizará dos sesiones educativas de manera virtual. Por último, se realizará el post test para medir la efectividad del uso del EPP. Plan de Tabulación y Análisis: Los datos serán codificados y luego ingresados a una base de datos, creada en el programa Ms Excel, para su posterior análisis estadístico con el programa Stata Versión 17.0 y se utilizará la prueba no paramétrica de Wilcoxon.

The Coronavirus Pandemic, COVID 19, suddenly arrived in the world, characterized by its high speed of contagion and its lethality. The controls, to reduce the speed of contagion, are prevention and isolation of infected people. Lethality is controlled with medical-hospital treatment. Those who work in a hospital have a high probability of becoming infected and having their health and that of their family environment affected. This work is a contribution to the care of Nursing staff who work in the Surgical Center of a hospital, based on the application of an Educational Program for the Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Objective: Determine the effectiveness of an Educational Program for the use of Personal Protective Equipment during Covid 19, in the nurses of the Surgical Center Area of a Hospital. Material and Methods: It has a quantitative approach, pre-experimental design, analytical, transversal type. The observation guide technique will be applied and the check list as an instrument. Data Collection: A pre-test will be carried out to determine the use of PPE. Then, two educational sessions will be held virtually. Finally, the post test will be carried out to measure the effectiveness of the use of PPE. Tabulation and Analysis Plan: The data will be coded and then entered into a database, created in the MS Excel program, for subsequent statistical analysis with the Stata Version 17.0 program and the non-parametric Wilcoxon test will be used.
