Capacidad de afrontamiento de familiares de los pacientes durante la hospitalización en la unidad de cuidados intensivos adultos

Abstract

Los familiares de pacientes que se encuentran hospitalizados en el servicio de Cuidados Intensivos tienen un cambio brusco en diferentes aspectos de su vida dañando principalmente su estado psicológico atravesando muchos momentos de ansiedad, angustia, dolor, impotencia e incertidumbre, los familiares tienen que tener la disposición y la capacidad de afrontar esta situación que atraviesa en su vida, el tener un afrontamiento que no es el adecuado ante este tipo de situaciones generan estrés, que se manifiestan con las impresiones negativas, la capacidad de afrontamiento esta mediada principalmente por el aspecto psicológico que tienen las personas en determinadas situaciones. Objetivo: Determinar la capacidad de afrontamiento de familiares de los pacientes durante la Hospitalización en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos adultos. Metodología: Estudio monográfico, descriptivo, retrospectivo con análisis documental donde se muestra como resultados la síntesis de múltiples resultados de fuentes bibliográficas analizadas e interpretadas de las bases de datos: SCIELO, CONCYTEC, DIALNET, BISTREAM, REDALYC y LIBRARY. Resultados: De los 20 artículos científicos analizados el 50% fueron de Colombia y 20% de Cuba, en cuanto al año el 20% fueron de los años 2016, 2017,2019 y 2020 y el 15% del año 2021, el 45% fueron extraídos de Scielo, 25% de Redalyc y Dialnet y el 5% de Pubmed. Conclusiones: los diferentes estudios encontrados muestran que la dimensión más usada en la capacidad de afrontamiento fue la solución de problemas y la búsqueda de apoyo social, seguida de la religión y la reevaluación positiva, expresión emocional abierta y la evitación y nadie usa la auto focalización negativa.

The relatives of patients who are hospitalized in the Intensive Care service have a sudden change in different aspects of their lives, mainly damaging their psychological state, going through many moments of anxiety, anguish, pain, impotence and uncertainty, the relatives have to have the disposition and the ability to cope with this situation that he is going through in his life, having a coping that is not adequate in this type of situation generates stress, which is manifested with negative impressions, the ability to cope is mainly mediated by the psychological aspect that people have in certain situations. Objective: To determine the coping capacity of relatives of patients during hospitalization in the Adult Intensive Care Unit. Methodology: Monographic, descriptive, retrospective study with documentary analysis where the results are shown as the synthesis of multiple results from bibliographic sources analyzed and interpreted from the databases: SCIELO, CONCYTEC, DIALNET, BISTREAM, REDALYC and LIBRARY.
