Tendencias sobre la ansiedad en los pacientes quirúrgicos

Abstract

Enfermería quirúrgica es parte fundamental en el cuidado de un paciente en sus 3 momentos: el preoperatorio, transoperatorio y postoperatorio. A través de sus intervenciones, actuará en la preparación psicológica, pues brinda información pertinente y absuelve las dudas que puedan presentarse, manteniendo al paciente en un estado de tranquilidad y seguridad. De esta manera, evitará la ansiedad, tema relevante en centro quirúrgico, obteniendo así una cirugía y recuperación exitosa. Objetivo: Analizar las tendencias sobre la ansiedad en los pacientes quirúrgicos. Metodología: Enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental y de tipo descriptivo retrospectivo, basado en una revisión documental. Resultados: Luego de la aplicación de los criterios de inclusión y exclusión sobre la revisión bibliográfica, se obtuvo 21 artículos de revistas indexadas. La mayoría procedente de Brasil, del año 2018, en idioma español, en la base de dato de Scielo y de enfoque cuantitativo. Conclusión: En los artículos científicas, se demuestra la importancia de la ansiedad. Esta información nos permitirá saber los niveles y factores que se pueden presentar, además que nos demuestra que la actuación de la especialista a través de sus intervenciones juega un rol esencial en el manejo y control de la ansiedad, teniendo efectos positivos para el paciente, también resalta que se deben crear áreas (visita prequirúrgica, entrevista prequirúrgica, etc.) y establecer tiempos para poder intervenir en este problema; de este modo, se tendrá cirugías y recuperaciones exitosas.

Surgical nursing is a fundamental part in the care of a patient in these 3 moments: preoperative, transoperative and postoperative. Through his/her interventions, he/she will participate in the psychological preparation, since he/she provides pertinent information and absolves the doubts that may arise, keeping the patient in a state of tranquility and security. In this way, the patient will avoid anxiety, a relevant issue in the surgical center, thus obtaining a successful surgery and recovery. Objective: To analyze trends on anxiety in surgical patients. Methodology: Quantitative approach, non-experimental design and retrospective descriptive type, based on a documentary review. Results: After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria on the literature review, 21 articles were obtained from indexed journals. Most of them from Brazil, from the year 2018, in Spanish language, in the Scielo database and with a quantitative approach. Conclusion: In the scientific articles, the importance of anxiety is demonstrated. This information will allow us to know the levels and factors that can occur. It also shows that the performance of the specialist through his/her interventions plays an essential role in the management and control of anxiety, having positive effects for the patient. In addition, it highlights that some areas should be created (pre-surgical visit, pre-surgical interview, etc.) and times should be established to intervene in this problem. Thus, there will be successful surgeries and recoveries.
