Evidencias sobre la relación-enfermera familia en la unidad de cuidados intensivos

Abstract

El personal profesional de enfermería tiene una labor técnica muy importante en el cuidado de los pacientes internados en la unidad de cuidados intensivos y debe de tener una relación muy comunicativa con la familia, debido a que sufren un periodo de estrés, debe de existir una relación muy adecuada entre el personal profesional de enfermería de UCI y los familiares, para que exista una comprensión empática entre enfermeras y familiares de pacientes, especialmente cuando el paciente en la UCI es un adulto mayor y el entorno familiar es afectado. Objetivo: Determinar las evidencias de la relación enfermera-familiar en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos. Metodología: Estudio descriptivo, retrospectivo mediante la revisión de la literatura científica. Resultados: En los artículos considerados se ubicaron gran cantidad de investigadores referidos al tema de investigación de relación- enfermera, así mismo el bienestar del paciente internado en UCI, y finalmente, en lo que respecta a las limitaciones de la información por parte de personal del UCI tenemos la misma cantidad de artículos obteniendo 10 artículos cada uno, en un total de 30. Conclusiones: Las barreras en la comunicación y la carga laboral del personal dificultan el vínculo, por lo que es esencial implementar estrategias que mejoren la infraestructura y las habilidades comunicativas, promoviendo un entorno más colaborativo y humano que beneficie tanto a pacientes como a sus familias.

Professional nursing staff have a very important technical role in the care of patients admitted to the intensive care unit and must have a very communicative relationship with the family, because they suffer a period of stress, there must be a very adequate relationship between professional ICU nursing staff and family members, so that there is an empathetic understanding between nurses and family members of patients, especially when the patient in the ICU is an elderly adult and the family environment is affected. Objective: To determine the evidence of the nurse-family relationship in the Intensive Care Unit. Methodology: Descriptive, retrospective study through a review of the scientific literature. Results: In the articles considered, there were a large number of researchers referring to the topic of research on the relationship between nurse and patient, as well as the well-being of the patient admitted to the ICU, and finally, with regard to the limitations of information by ICU staff, we have the same number of articles, obtaining 10 articles each, for a total of 30. Conclusions: Communication barriers and staff workload make the bond difficult, so it is essential to implement strategies that improve the infrastructure and communication skills, promoting a more collaborative and human environment that benefits both patients and their families.
