Desarrollo e implementación de un programa de orientación vocacional en tiempos de pandemia en estudiantes de quinto de secundaria en un colegio privado de Lima

Abstract

El presente trabajo de suficiencia profesional fue realizado en la institución educativa privada “R.L”, mediante la propuesta de desarrollo y aplicación de un Programa de Orientación Vocacional a los estudiantes del quinto año de secundaria. Esta actividad fue ejecutada de forma remota, emitida por la plataforma Zoom, ya que nos encontrábamos en emergencia sanitaria. El Programa en mención fue de carácter voluntario y se contó con una población beneficiada de 60 escolares del último año de secundaria, el promedio de edades oscila entre los 15 a 17 años. Además, se evaluó a los estudiantes utilizando el Test Talentos 45 (2016) y la ficha de datos; por otro lado, se les administró el Cuestionario Caracterológico de G.B y el Inventario de Intereses y Preferencias Profesionales, por protocolo de la institución. Se consideraron sesiones de trabajo con los alumnos y una charla con los padres de familia, además de la organización de una Feria Vocacional invitando a diversas instituciones; asimismo, se contactó con estudiantes egresados del mismo colegio, quienes brindaron su testimonio y espacios de mentoría académica para los estudiantes. En el cierre del Programa se encuestó a los escolares y a los padres de familia para determinar el nivel de satisfacción sobre el programa realizado. Respecto a los resultados se logró implementar el Programa de Orientación Vocacional en los escolares del último año de secundaria de la IEP RL, mejorando sus expectativas para seguir estudios superiores y apoyando la elección de una carrera.

The present work of professional sufficiency was carried out in the private educational institution "R.L", through the proposal of development and application of a Vocational Orientation Program to the students of the fifth year of secondary school. This activity was carried out remotely, broadcast by the Zoom platform since we were in a health emergency. The Program in question was voluntary and had a beneficiary population of 60 students in their last year of high school, the average age ranges between 15 to 17 years. The students were evaluated using the Talent Test 45 (2016) and the data sheet; On the other hand, they were administered the G.B. Characterological Questionnaire and the Inventory of Professional Interests and Preferences, according to the protocol of the institution. Work sessions with the students and a talk with the parents were considered, in addition to the organization of a Vocational Fair inviting various institutions; Likewise, students who graduated from the same school were contacted, who offered their testimony and academic mentoring spaces for the students. At the end of the Program, students and parents were surveyed to determine the level of satisfaction with the program carried out. Regarding the results, it was possible to implement the Vocational Orientation Program in the students of the last year of secondary school of the IEP RL, improving their expectations to continue higher studies and supporting the choice of a career.
