Cultura de seguridad y prevención de eventos adversos aplicados por las enfermeras de centro quirúrgico en un hospital de Lima 2024

Abstract

La labor de la enfermera en los centros quirúrgicos, son diversas y de gran relevancia, puesto que se atiende al paciente que va ser intervenido quirúrgicamente y su compromiso es brindar una atención segura y de calidad, lo cual implica prevenir los eventos adversos. El objetivo: Es determinar la relación que existe entre la cultura de seguridad y la prevención de eventos adversos aplicados por las enfermeras de centro quirúrgico. Materiales y Métodos: Será de enfoque cuantitativo, no experimental, descriptivo, tipo aplicada, de corte transversal y nivel correlacional La muestra: Estará representada por 144 enfermeras. La técnica: Será la encuesta y la observación. Instrumentos: Para evaluar las variables, cultura de seguridad se empleará el cuestionario adaptado por la investigadora, validado por el juicio de diez expertos, fiable mediante Alfa de Cronbach, con un valor obtenido de 0.88, y para medir el nivel de “prevención de eventos adversos”, se aplicará una lista de chequeo de prevención de eventos adversos, diseñado por Calvo y colaboradores en el año 2018, fiable mediante el coeficiente de Kuder Richardson dando un valor 0.7. Análisis e interpretación de datos: Se realizará mediante la aplicación estadística descriptiva en cuadros o gráficos y el análisis inferencial a través del coeficiente de correlación de Spearman ρ(ro).

The work of the nurse in surgical centers is diverse and of great relevance, since the patient who is going to undergo surgery is cared for and their commitment is to provide safe and quality care, which implies preventing adverse events. The objective: Is to determine the relationship that exists between the safety culture and the prevention of adverse events applied by surgical center nurses. Materials and Methods: It will have a quantitative, non-experimental, descriptive, applied, cross-sectional and correlational approach. The sample: It will be represented by 144 nurses. The technique: It will be the survey and observation. Instruments: To evaluate the variables, safety culture, the questionnaire adapted by the researcher will be used, validated by the judgment of ten experts, reliable through Cronbach's Alpha, with a value obtained of 0.88, and to measure the level of “event prevention”. adverse events”, a checklist for the prevention of adverse events will be applied, designed by Calvo and collaborators in 2018, reliable using the Kuder Richardson coefficient giving a value of 0.7. Analysis and interpretation of data: It will be carried out through the application of descriptive statistics in tables or graphs and inferential analysis through the Spearman correlation coefficient ρ(ro).
