La efectividad de las intervenciones para el dolor posoperatorio se ha convertido en un tema muy importante en los centros quirúrgicos, porque es muy importante que las enfermeras tomen medidas adecuadas y oportunas para aliviar el dolor de los pacientes cuando esto no es posible y así tengan una adecuada adherencia a la medicación durante la prestación de cuidados mediante estrategias alternativas al tratamiento farmacológico. Objetivo: Describir las intervenciones no farmacológicas de enfermería en el manejo del dolor postoperatorio. Metodología: Revisión bibliográfica, descriptivo, retrospectivo. Resultados: se incluyeron en el estudio un total de 23 artículos de revistas de enfermería indexadas de la base de datos científicos como Pubmed, Elsevier, Bvs, Scielo, Redalyc, Unsis y Permanyer, con una antigüedad entre el 2018 y 2023, siguiendo los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Conclusión: En cuanto a las intervenciones de enfermería se encontraron diferentes intervenciones no farmacológicas como la musicoterapia, aromaterapia, masajes, confort, acupresión y termoterapia siendo las más resaltantes la musicoterapia con un 30 %, aromaterapia con un 22% y masajes con un 17%.
Resumen
The effectiveness of interventions for postoperative pain has become a very important issue in surgical centers, because it is very important that nurses take appropriate and timely measures to relieve patients' pain when this is not possible and thus have an adequate adherence to medication during the provision of care through alternative strategies to pharmacological treatment. Objective: Describe non-pharmacological nursing interventions in the management of postoperative pain. Methodology: Bibliographic review, descriptive, retrospective. Results: a total of 23 articles from nursing journals indexed in the scientific database such as PubMed, Elsevier, Bvs, Scielo, Redalyc, Unsis and Permanyer, dated between 2018 and 2023, were included in the study, following the criteria of inclusion and exclusion. Conclusion: Regarding nursing interventions, different non-pharmacological interventions were found such as music therapy, aromatherapy, massages, comfort, acupressure and thermotherapy, the most notable being music therapy with 30%, aromatherapy with 22% and massages with 17%.
